  • Meh...I guess this is what a couple hundred bucks gets these days
Color: Mahogany Pattern Name: Speakers
Its is little better than the one with the toy turntable that I sent back. It is NOT a burner. It plugs into your computer by USB and has some recording software. When you turn it on, it comes on the radio no matter what you were listening to before and the volume is at 14 on it's meter when 4 or 5 is decent listening level. IT ALWAYS COMES ON AT THE SAME LOUD LEVEL. Its.....OK. Even mild audiophiles needn't bother. ... show more

  • Like new I'm description but it has bangups
Color: Mahogany Pattern Name: Speakers
It has a couple of scratches, but I've always wanted this brand and this product, and I got it for a semidescent price, so overall, I'm pleased.

  • I'm sure this is nice
Color: Mahogany Pattern Name: Speakers
It arrived on time but it's 3000 + miles away and I have to wait till May to play with it. At least I finally have an updated version of my Realistic record player from 1983. We shall see.

  • Love the nostalgia of it but….
Color: Espresso Pattern Name: Speakers
The sound quality is very poor and I’m no beats expert. It played my record, usb thumb drive, and Bluetooth though and will serve its purpose of having something to play while cleaning. The record player is what saved it from a poor rating, that’s a pretty cool feature.

  • WILL stop working at some point
Color: Espresso Pattern Name: Speakers
The Victrola comes with a one year warranty. So if your Victrola stops working in less than a year, you can ship it back at your expense, and receive a new Victrola (shipping paid by you). If your Victrola suddenly stops producing sound in four years, like mine, you are out of luck. You will receive a reply from the company telling you to take your Victrola to your local repair shop… because we all have a local electronics repair shop, right? The company will explain to you they do not repair their own products, nor do they sell parts to their own products - probably because it would be embarrassing for the company to sell the cheap Chinese parts used to build an “American” product. We took particularly fantastic care of our Victrola, as we have a vast collection of records, a good sized CD collection, and an armful of cassettes. Our Victrola is in mint condition after four years, with the exception that the speakers just suddenly stopped working last week. We never turned the volume up past level 12. One day, I was listening to an audio book through the Victrola Bluetooth with no issue, and the next day, the speakers simply didn’t work. This is obviously a manufacturing defect in the electronic connection between the control panel and the speakers. So, if you are an electrician, looking for a hobby, this is a great purchase. If you want a large decorative piece, something that looks great but will fail, this is your heavy and expensive Knick knack. However, if you are looking for a functional stereo system that lasts more than a few years, this product is not what you are looking for. Since ours is now suddenly a useless lump of wood and parts, we will pry it open and employ our own electronics sauntering skills, even though we were not interested in the purchase of a hobby. ... show more

  • AmazonRenewedPurchase-And unfortunately doesn’t burn the cds itself
Color: Espresso Pattern Name: Speakers
The box it came in deceivingly looked like it went through hell but the contents were in ridiculously good shape in comparison. Literally no scratches or dings in the wood. So if that’s not just a lucky break, then I’d understand the reason for such a low priced item then(around$60). Because only one speaker(right) plays audio while playing a vinyl record. Hopefully that’s something I can get into and fix. The player’s arm wasn’t secured properly and was free to bang around all over. And the plastic needle cover wasn’t even on either so it’s a miracle the thing played, yet alone crisply. It’s too bad that record players are foreign objects to most now. Because all of that was easily avoidable if anyone had just used the latch that keeps the arm locked securely in place. Heck, there was even a big white sticker next to it saying what it does lol. Other than the speaker not working during vinyls they sound nice, clear and get pretty loud on every setting besides the Phono/record setting. With the other options the volume at 4-5 is adequate, and from there gets pretty loud while staying tight. With the Phono option the volume needs to be maxed out and even then isn’t blasting to my liking. Although that all may just be due to my faulty speaker issue. Overall, especially for what I paid($60ish) I would absolutely recommend this classy-looking baby for all of its different player options, the build/wood quality, usb output for creating/saving mp3s of played audio, and for the better than average turn-table system it has, among other qualities. The only gripes I have so far is the one faulty speaker and the low volume output possibly caused by said broken speaker, and how this device doesn’t record the played audio directly to a cd itself. For whatever reason I was under the impression that this was an all-in-one product, as in didn’t need to connect a computer to receive the mp3s to then copy to disk. Regardless, good product my guys ... show more
