I had already been using Victorinox Swiss Classic Tomato knives for years for slicing veggies, hard-boiled eggs, etc. But when I was buying more to replace other old knives in my kitchen, I decided to go all-in on Victorinox for the long-lasting sharpness, and how well it particularly sliced tomatoes with ease. It epitomizes the old saying "Like a hot knife through butter". When cruising the selection on Amazon, I found this set and included it in my order. I have to say these have become my favorite shape of all the Victorinox. My husband raved about them the first time I set the table for our weekly steak dinner, and he took his first slice. He is still raving about their versatility, quality, sturdiness, and ease of handling. Victorinox comes in different colors in this blade shape. The thing I like best is that a sharp knife is a safe knife! The handle is comfortable and lightly textured, and the whole knife is easy to hand wash. Excellent, has quickly become my favorite tomato knives. Got them to replace some aging japanese knives that won't hold an edge anymore, couldn't be happier. Downside, they're ridiculously sharp. Went right through both sponge and dish glove on first wash, and I sliced the heck out of my thumb. But overall 10/10, just be careful with your hands. ... show more

I purchased a set of these knives and I will tell you they are the sharpest knives I have ever used. Be very careful. They are great for slicing vegetables, steaks, carrots, you name it. Excellent quality and dishwasher safe.

very good product. It’s the one I reached for whenever I want to cut vegetables. The serrated blade stays sharp. I use it for cutting vegetables and also for steak knives so it’s double duty.
