  • Great as expected.
Size: 8" Chef's
Only gripe is my knife came with a bent tip... but other than that perfection nun the less.

  • I don't really know how to score this.
Size: 8" Chef's
The knife is great. Perfect for the price. I loved it. I used it once and it was sharp right out of the packaging (heavy plastic, like you might see electronics come in). So the knife gets five stars. I'll probably buy more variations by the company in the future. Good work. Here's the problem. The knife (through no fault of mine, and not at all a reflection of the knifes quality) was broken the day after first use by a drunken family member. The tip snapped after they did something stupid. After realizing they owed me a new knife, they asked me to send them a link so they could replace it. I sent them the Amazon link where I originally purchased and they sent me a screenshot showing that the purchase was made from the link sent. Problem solved. When I received the replacement in the mail I was pretty disappointed. Instead of coming in the hard plastic packaging from the manufacturer it was wrapped in a taped up loose cellophane like product. No hard plastic from the manufacturer to be seen. I opened it up and it was dull, had multiple stickers and pieces of tape adorning it (one of the stickers had a big check mark on it...not a great sign) and was very clearly returned and refurbed. I double checked and it was ordered from the link I sent. So, I'm annoyed that I ordered the knife for myself, received it and was very happy with it, the knife was destroyed and reordered from the same place and was then sent used. I keep saying I need to stop going through Amazon but I'm lazy and it's convenient. So my fault I guess. I cancelled my PRIME membership last year after they lost a bunch of Christmas presents I ordered. I'll probably renew it when the Boys comes back unless somebody can hook up a link to stream it for free and me and Amazon can call it even for the dull knife, sticky with tape and stickers (and yes, I sharpened it and it's great. The knife is quality. That's not the point). Just be wary. You might get an already used knife and be disappointed. Maybe see if Target has it or get it direct from the manufacturer. ... show more

  • The best tool in my kitchen
Size: 7.9 in (Pack of 1)
I have to start by saying, I don't get attached to household tools, but this thing... wow. Out of the box it aced the popular paper test with no problem. When I went to cut up an apple for my kids, I was amazed how it slid through the fruit with almost no pressure. I was cutting wafer-thin slices, the likes of which I didn't know were possible. It's been a month since I bought the knife and outside of a few small dings in it, it's still cutting fruit and veggies like a champ. I'm able to cut ridiculously thin carrot strips and mince garlic, onions, and peppers like a pro. It's turned our Hello Fresh meals into an absolute joy to make. Long story short: Life's too short to use dull kitchen knives. I didn't know it was possible to get emotional about a kitchen knife, but here we are. I should have bought this so much sooner. ... show more

  • Casi perfecto
Size: 8" Chef's
... show more

  • I am not a super chef, but am a bit of a knife ...
Size: 8" Chef's
I am not a super chef, but am a bit of a knife fan who of late has been doing TONS of research on knives, kitchen and otherwise. I am going to start with the one annoying thing, and it is a very common annoying thing. The packaging is the gawd-awful plastic clam shell. I hate it to the deepest core of my blacken soul. In the name of all that is decent could the manufacturer please just put it in a lil cardboard box that is easy to open. Please... Now the good... First impression: pretty, the rosewood handle is quite nice with a lovely wood grain. The blade is shiny and mirror like at high angles, a very dull mirror like straight on. Decent amount of weight, but not feather light, which I like. The feel of the handle is fantastic. I am not a petite fellow, and normally wear large to xlarge gloves, for whatever that means, and the handle felt great in my hand. Full, good width and length. Just felt great. I could wax poetic on the fullness of hand and supple curves for moments on end, but just let it be known, this is one of the better feeling knives I have held, yet that does encompass a very small sample.... tldr, it feels good. Came pretty frickin sharp. I am sharp freak, I have stones, and sharpen pretty regularly, at least compared to all others I know who NEVER sharpen their knives. My first cutting was for breakfast, so not a lot of stuff, but a couple of jalapenos and a big bell pepper. I did not need to do any more than direct the knife, no pressure and it sliced through, thin and thick slices, lengthwise, just glided through with no pressure other than the knife. I was pretty impressed. Also, for other largish handed individuals, one thing that many of us encounter with knives is the depth of the blade is so shallow, that when chopping/rocking our knuckles/fingers bang into the cutting board. In my limited experience so far that has not been an issue at all, good clearance with the slightly taller blade. All in all, the reviews that rave on and on are well worthwhile. If you are considering it, other than that crappy clam shell packing, it is a great knife, go for it. ... show more
