Description

He's prince charming. Just not hers. I have a secret. I stole a heart, or rather a marriage contract. It wasn’t mine to own, to look at or to even consider. But it was there for the taking so I took it. Huge mistake. Ronan Astor is a nobility in this world. Arrogant player. Heartless bastard. Vicious prince. Now, he’s out to destroy me. What he doesn’t know is that I’m out to destroy him too. My name is Teal Van Doren, and I’m where princes go to die. Vicious Prince is part of Royal Elite Series but could be read on its own. For a better understanding of the world, you might want to read the previous books first. Read more

  • “The little girl in Birmingham, remember her?”
Format: Kindle
This was a true 5 star read. I might argue one of the best Rina Kent’s book (rival with god of fury). The plot was well thought out and captivating, tackling serious themes. The sex scenes were just enough and true to the characters and their story. My favourite scene was of Ronan contemplating necrophillia and getting concerned when he saw Teal’s reaction. The characters were great! Teal and Ronan were beautiful characters, mind body and soul. I loved being their heads. Rina loves to write villains and it’s clear Teal was the villain and I loved her. I just loved so many moments in this book - Ronan obsessively texting Teal 😭🥹 the vulnerability was amazing! - Teal and Ronan at the smex club! - Cole walking in on them and being a creep 🤣 - Every Cole and Ronan interaction!!! - Teal’s letter to Ronan 😭😭😭 - The ending ❤️💋 ... show more

  • A fabulous addition to a edgy series
Format: Kindle
Viscious Prince is the fifth installment in the "Royal Elite" series and I have to say that this author is becoming so addicting. I absolutely adored everything about this book here and it was so delightful to read. I was so intrigued to see where it would be taken for me but it really delivered in all the ways that I expected and more. I really adored the characters here and finally getting Ronan's book was so delightful. He is probably the more entertaining out of the group, and I felt like we got to see so many more hidden depths to his character. He was matched up with the most unlikely girl ever haha but honestly once we get to the details behind her facade, you really get to see so much more depths to her that I really enjoyed. There is so much depth of emotion and abuse that is focused on. I really enjoyed the manner in which the author displayed this portion of the story. Its built as a solid mystery layered upon the romance, and seeing the pieces of it all come together just makes for the best crescendo of an ending. If you are fans of Rina Kent, edgier romance and a good mystery balanced with the story, then you definitely need to grab this one up! ... show more

  • Another heart wrenching love story.
Format: Kindle
This series, including this book, is filled brutally beautiful characters whose stories are extremely varied, all with elements of tragedy. They are survivors, who somehow find their match. However, seriously heed the trigger warnings, not particularly for the spicy scenes, but for the sensitive issues covered. ... show more

  • Favourite Couple in this series
Format: Kindle
Rina Kent always surprises me with the past her characters have! There is always something new to think about, some new difficulty or hurdle to leap over. It is always interesting to see how two people who did not know each other in the past are somehow connected in the future. Thea is the quiet and introvert foster sister of Elsa. Just observing her - the messages on her clothes, the makeup and gothic way of dressing, the books she reads - people would think she is weird. Why does she behave so anti-social? Ronan, the fourth horseman - Death - at RES school is the one always ready to throw a party at his home. His parents are never around, so there is always a party. He is never alone, his guys or some girl on his arm. Is there a reason why he needs so much attention? Two extreme opposites are brought together in Vicious Prince and the chemistry is interesting from the initial contact. They seem to be just right when they are together. The ying to the yang, that make relationships sizzle. But is there something that might keep them apart? The twists in Vicious Prince will have you turning the page until the end!! Thea and Ro are my new favourite couple in this series!!! Reasons I enjoyed this book: Easy-to-read, Haunting, Happily Ever After, Page-turner, Steamy, Tear-jerker, Tragic, Twisted, Unpredictable, Wonderful characters ... show more

  • Teal & Ronan - PASS
Format: Kindle
Vicious Prince by Rina Kent is a book that I enjoyed for the most part, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me due to the characters of Teal and Ronan. While the storyline itself was intriguing, these two characters didn't resonate with me as much as the others in the series. From the very beginning, when we first saw Teal in Twisted Kingdom, I found it difficult to connect with her. One of the reasons for my lack of connection with Teal and Ronan could be the fact that we know the least about them compared to the characters from the prior books. As a result, I didn't feel as invested in their journey as I did with the other couples. Perhaps if the book had been longer, allowing for more development and exploration of their characters, I might have been able to connect with them on a deeper level. That being said, I did appreciate seeing a different side to both Teal and Ronan in Vicious Prince. It was interesting to witness their transformation from enemies to lovers and to witness their growth throughout the story. Rina Kent's writing skillfully portrays their complex relationship and the challenges they face as they navigate their arranged marriage. While the characters of Teal and Ronan didn't resonate with me personally, I can still recognize the strengths of the book. Rina Kent's storytelling and ability to create tension and intrigue are evident throughout the pages. The enemies-to-lovers trope is executed well, and the plot keeps you engaged and wanting to know what happens next. In conclusion, Vicious Prince is a book that I enjoyed to a certain extent, but the characters of Teal and Ronan didn't capture my heart like the others in the series. The storyline is intriguing and the enemies-to-lovers dynamic is well done, but I couldn't fully connect or fall in love with these characters. However, if you are a fan of the series and enjoy arranged marriage tropes, it is still worth giving this book a read. ... show more
