These 18 inch fans have exceeded my expectations. I bought two of them for my garage, and they move an incredible amount of air. Even on lower speeds, they provide excellent airflow, and the oscillation works smoothly, helping circulate air throughout the entire space. One feature I really appreciate is that they can be left in the on position. I have mine plugged into switched outlets, so every time I flip the wall switch, both fans power on automatically. That convenience makes them perfect for a garage or workshop setup. The fans are well built, perform exactly as advertised, and have made my garage much more comfortable to work in. Fan arrived in good condition and all listed parts were there. Only thing to know is that fan mounting hardware included is not for Sheetrock. It is for for brick or metal installation. To mount on Sheetrock for a garage you will need to mount a support board 1” x 6” to two neighboring wall studs with long screws and then mount the fan bracket to the 1” x 6” with hardware you provide. Sheet rock anchors will not work for long as the fan does vibrate and weighs about 11 lbs. I used some wood screws with washers and appears to be very study. Overall installation and assembly was not too bad if you have basic do it yourself skills and tools. Fan is good and moves ALOT of air without being too noisy. We will see how long it lasts. Also Unfortunately it does not come with a cover for winter ... show more

I use it for a bedroom fan. Wife hates it but I love it. Little more power than youd need in a bedroom but I need a fan to sleep and the box fans werent cutting it. Not loud at all and it moves air around the room flawlessly.

    • Solid VEVOR Wall-Mount Fan for Garage Ventilation – Just Needed a Better Mounting Solution

I bought this VEVOR fan specifically for my garage to move air around while I’m working on projects, and it’s been a solid performer overall. The build quality feels really well made – sturdy metal housing and no cheap plastic vibes. Durability gets a thumbs-up from me so far. The only real complaint is the included hardware was totally inadequate for a secure wall mount (just basic screws that wouldn’t bite into studs properly). I ended up using a 2’x6” board: mounted the fan base to the board first, then lag-screwed the board into my wall studs. Took an extra 20 minutes but now it’s rock-solid and zero wobble even at full speed. Air volume is excellent – I’d give it a strong 8/10. It really pushes a good breeze across the whole garage without feeling weak. Speed is plenty fast (blades are aluminum or steel and spin quick, so definitely keep kids/pets away). Noise level stays reasonable for an industrial-style fan; you hear it but it’s not obnoxious. The product listing mentions outdoor use, and yeah, it could definitely handle a dry covered outdoor area, but I have it installed inside the garage and it’s perfect for that. One feature I really appreciate is the safety screw on the fan grate – it keeps the front and back guards from separating even at high speed. That little detail gives me peace of mind. If you’re looking for a reliable garage fan and don’t mind spending 10 extra minutes on a proper mount, this VEVOR is worth it. Would buy again! ... show more

After 2 months of use the neck broke and cannot rotate whenever I'm turning it on it swings as if out of control. I'll never recommend this product to anyone
