I was skeptical, because of the price. My fears have proven to be unfounded. Initial use had me concerned because they felt very weak. However, with about a 30-40 mile break-in, they have bedded well and are now working quite well. I did exploit the self adjusting of them, and thoroughly enjoyed that over time with a screwdriver from the back. I just jacked the trailer, pulled the brake pin in the controller, and then rotated the wheels back and forth until I no longer heard the self adjuster clicking. Easy peasy! I rather suspect with some more miles and use, the brakes will bed in better still. None the less, they now do work pretty darn well. Whew!

check package upon arrival immediately. I purchased set of 4 and package was damaged because they are so heavy. dust covers fell off and one bearing was missing. Ordered replacement w/o problems. Easy to install, fits perfectly my 2003 travel trailer.

These seem to be of good quality. However, there was a wire crushed exposing bare wire and they come with no retaining nuts and no information on what to use. These require size 12 x 1.50 metrics nuts. There is also no information on torque requirements. I will be consulting local machinists to get recommendations on proper torque settings.

Excellent price, decent quality, bolted right up and worked fine. These are a pair for one axle (left and right) maybe it states that, too lazy to go look. They are stamped as such so double check on install, they can only function one way.

These 10” brake shoes offer a great price but they made for a long day when they didint come with new mounting nuts, the stud thread pitch is apparently a harder to find fine thread 7/16 x 20. It took 3 stores and 2 hours to find them and then you better hope they have enough (16) in stock as they are a special item ( not found in the buy in bulk per pound section ) really wish they just sent the hardware. The old nuts and studs were rusted and some snapped off and some were cut off rendering unusable. I would buy again for the price but order the hardware ahead of time!! I would rate 5 stars if they came with the 7/16x20 nuts.

Worked perfect. Was able to do both axles for the same price as one axle using name brand parts. Fit my 50 year old drums and axles with no issues. Just make sure you put them on the correct side during install.
