    • Very restricted water flow
Even though it comes with 1.5" id hoses the passages in the heat exchanger are very small 1/2 -3/4". The unit has 1-1/4" OD inlet and outlet ports and comes with rubber sleeves to allow it to accept the 1-1/2" id hoses (comes with 2, 1 foot and 2 foot pieces). Because of the small internal diameter I would not recommend installing in filter system. I used a separate small circulation pump. By doing a little filing I was able to to insert 3/4" pvc inside the ports and attach standard 3/4" hose fittings. ... show more

    • Hose cracked
Our hose cracked only a few days after installation. This caused a big leak while we were at work and is not acceptable for a pool related product. Would not recommend.

STAY AWAY. ITEM DESIGN IS FLAWED AND YOU NEED MUCH MORE HOSE TO JOIN TOGETHER IN TANDEM PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF WASTED TIME, IT DID NOT EVEN WARM THE WATER AND I'VE PURCHASED 4 OF THEM. THE PROCESS OF A RETURN IS A NUGHTMARE AND STILL PENDING. Doesnt heat water up. Had it running in 80+ weather and no noticeable difference. We used 2 units for our 12,000 gal pool. Waste of $$. Used a solar cover too. May be good for cooling it down at night in the height of summer

It doesn’t heat the pool at all. One day it worked for a couple hours and next it is so cold and that usually happens that way for a week to10 days. We just put our 16x10 pool up 2weeks ago June 2. Hopefully you can help me out. Thank you very much Louann Wubbenhorst

    • Product and company are cheap
Bought 3 domes to help heat the pool. Very low quality and the hoses quickly sprang leaks. Then, needed to replace using 1.5" connectors that weren't in the boxes. Trying to work with the customer support is a waste of time and effort. Regret having purchased.
