Features

  • CLEAN AND GREEN: The FH120 is powered by clean electricity, reducing the harmful environmental effects and cost of traditional heaters that use natural gas or propane. Our pumps instead move heat from the air into the water, which saves you money and is a breeze to maintain
  • COMPATIBLE WITH: In ground pools up to 5,000 gallons and above ground pools up to 15 foot round or 12 by 18 foot oval. As with all heat pumps, we recommend using in a humid climate down to 50 degrees for best performance. Dry climates are better served by a traditional gas heater
  • HIGH EFFICIENCY: Utilizing high-pressure differential compressors and titanium heat exchangers, FibroPool heat pumps are meticulously designed to be the most energy efficient in their class. You can rest comfortably knowing your family will enjoy years of late season swimming without feeling a squeeze on your electric bill
  • RUGGED DESIGN: Enamel-coated steel chassis is designed to withstand outdoor elements season after season. Slim profile measures just 16"x40"x24", offering a wide range of mounting options
  • EASY OPERATION: Digital control panel with an easy-to-read display offers convenient temperature setting and monitoring. Optional extension cable allows you to mount the control panel in a location that works best for you

  • ❤️
The heat pump came well packaged and undamaged. I’m a 60 year old woman and I had no issues installing it, other than moving it which required help. It ran great all summer, kept my pool at 84 degrees and extended the swimming season an extra 2 months which my Grandkids really loved ❤️

  • Great Pool Heater for a 110v system! Super Easy!
First off, I have an 18' diameter, 6.5' deep above-ground pool. I live in Wisconsin, so the time to use the pool is limited to when my solar heater heats up the pool, usually by mid-June. I wanted to get a heater that would work with the existing electrical connection. This one was IT! Came quickly and seemed easy to use. It took this heater 2 days total to take a pool from 53 Degrees (F) to 80 Degrees (F)! Shipping sucked tho, as it came with a medium dent in the side that I had to pound out. I will break it down: PROS: Came Quickly Directions are ok to follow Comes with all the parts needed to connect Heats well (It is a heat pump) Quiet compared to my pool pump Simple hookup and worked immediately. CONS: Even with Plumbers Tape and Plumber's thread goop, still leaks out of the cold input. Came with a dent from the shipping. Changing the temp was not addressed in the instructions, had to scan the QR code on the front of the heater to get to a video on how to set the temp. The default temp is 82F. Needs a 20A circuit (I had a 20A to use, a 15A circuit wont work as it pulls 14A) I would recommend this heater to anyone! If it can keep a pool at 78 degrees when last night it got down to 43 degrees (F), im sold! ... show more

  • Great Product once it’s working (FH-120 Helpful Tips)
The media could not be loaded. This has been an unbelievable addition to our 15’ Intex pool. We live in Illinois and went from struggling to use the pool for 30 minutes with freezing kids... to 5 hour swim sessions and real improvement in their abilities. The product arrives on a section of plywood with cardboard over the remaining sides. I think that the insufficient packaging led to one of the wiring harness connectors to come loose inside the control panel, which took me a few frustrating hours to diagnose and re-connect. Once that was reconnected, the product began to function well. It seems relatively well built, but I have had to tighten two screws already that were causing the fan to make a loud vibration sound. Also, the instructions are for multiple models and non-specific. I had to call technical services to learn about a specific software update that changes how you set the pool desired temperature. These are some basic manufacturing/delivery processes that are broken and not worthy of the relatively well-built product so far. The heater has been running one week now and raised the temperature of the water from 70 to 90 in Illinois with an ambient temperature between 70-80. We only run it during the day and it takes about 1.5 hours to raise it one degree on our 15’x4’ above ground pool. Overall satisfied, but Fibropool is making this harder than it needs to be with the packaging, poor instructions, and final QC lapses. You have a great underlying product that needs equivalent finishing touches! I’d recommend this as the easiest pool heater to install if you don’t want to hire an electrician or gas contractor! Helpful Hints for FH-120 users: 1. Setting the desired temperature. The manual states that you click set until you see “01” and a temperature. At that point you should be able to adjust the desired temp up or down (from the 82 degrees that’s preset). Ours did not adjust, but we found that getting to that screen and holding down both the up and down arrow for 5 seconds allowed the adjustment setting to kick in, and now we have it at 90 degrees. 2. For those that have the elaborate connections, remember that you can remove the large couplers that come preinstalled (on top of the unit of my picture) and simply use the small adapters for most above ground pools. We did not need to buy adapters for our 15’ intex. ... show more

  • You must take fan grill off and tie wrap wires to compressor.
The wires to the compressor will be touching the fan. You will have to take wire cover off and tie band the wires. If you do not, I can see the fan breaking or not operating as it should. Reading all reviews, I expected that. Thanks for the helpful reviews. It is complicated to adjust temperature, but read instructions carefully. It can be done. Mine is set to 89. It is a great heater. ... show more

  • Does not work, support will not answer, call back, or make any contact with me after ordering
I had this professionally installed and the heat pump does not work. Understandable as there is always a risk a product could be defective or damaged during shipping. I attempted all of the tricks and followed advice on settings per the manual and youtube videos. It still does not work. What is not acceptable is the complete failure to have any customer service or tech support to troubleshoot. The "support number" goes to an answering machine. You can call over and over for days and will never get an answer. It allows you to leave a voicemail for a call back, which I have done multiple times with no response. I have guests staying in the home that were expecting a pool heater, and sadly they will not have one as it looks I'll need to get my money back. Take your money elsewhere to a company that has some basic level of product support should the customer face issues. Update: This review is being updated some time later - eventually someone from support assisted, and the pool heater was verified to be "working." It required humidity, and is located in a humid area but despite that, when it did work, it never was able to heat the pool much , maybe 5-10 degrees max after days of running. However, it lasted for only 1-2 winter seasons working poorly, and this year once turned on, there is no functionality at all. Everything verified to be in order, but the unit didn't last. To this day, one of the worst purchases I've made and will be spending only a bit more for a dramatically better product from black n decker. ... show more
