This thing is a piece of junk unfortunately I can’t send it back because it’s past three days from the return time it doesn’t spread well. The gate hang up fertilizer gets stuck in between the gate and the Hopper. The gate does not shut properly. You can’t adjust it !!!! it just not a very good product. Stay away from it. The flow rate adjustment changes unexpectedly. I had it set on two, but three separate times while spreading fertilizer on my quarter acre yard, it shifted inexplicably to between 6 and 8 on its own. It of course dumped way too much fertilizer before I could stop, and now I have burn marks on my yard. Luckily I was still within the return/refund window. I bought this spreader as I wasn't happy the uneven spread pattern of the Scotts mini spreader; however, the Scotts spreader never caused burn marks.     • Some flaws but the efficiency was not impacted
The spreader is efficient however the vinyl cover was not included and, there are two wingnut screws attaching the handle and the plastic covered wing nut displaced from the threaded screw embedded in the plastic wingnut but it was not apparently damaging to the handle and we could do the lawn. I was able to reach the customer service representative at Vevor but they referred me back to Amazon to request a refund/return. I had already scheduled a work day with an associate and the next 3 days rain was forecast so that was ideal for the lawn project as it has barely rained this April. It’s solid and rolled over the turf fine though there’s no standard dial for the soreader so it’s a little challenging for a new user since most products base recommendation on usage by the display distribution. ... show more

Do not buy, finally had a chance to you my new spreader, of course this is past the return date. This thing is horrible, from the setting so jumping around and not putting out any fertilizer to large amount dumping when you don’t want it to. The trans from the wheels is use less, always slipping, do even try to use it any kind of slope. Thought it was a good deal, now fully regret buying it think I’ll just trash it, that’s about all it’s worth. Worst of the worst, horribly product, Amazon, you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!! ... show more

Don’t do it guys. Don’t do it. What a piece of crap. Everything jams. All the time. Even with fire ant granules. Got this to replace my old Scott’s spreader. It sucks. I’m gonna smash it with a sledge hammer cause it ruined my weekend. Going back to Scott’s.

Doesn’t work. Drop dial fails. Does not drop accordingly. Also try’s to spread topsoil. Does. NOT work. Hole to release soil fails. Hole NOT big enough Does not work. $10 more and get the SCOTT BRAND. I know it works well. Thought I SAVED $$$ Bad Choice…..VEVOR NO GOOD

what a complete POS. no marking to determine the correct number to adjust. The plates that rotate to open and close the fertilizer bind up and sometimes won't open and even better sometimes won't close. fertilizer slings out the back and into my shoes. DON'T BUY IT
