I use this item primarily for long heated rest for smoked beef brisket. This warming oven is plenty large, and construction quality seems acceptable (not incredible, but appears fine). I checked the oven's temperature calibration with a separate thermometer, and the oven temperature is correct. It also comes with a small water container at the bottom of the oven to provide some extra humidity, which is helpful to prevent meats from getting dried out during a long heated rest. As the other reviewers have stated, removing the protective plastic from the oven out of the box is a huge pain in the butt - plan for that to take a couple of hours or more, depending on how picky you are. First of all, the top of the unit had been smashed in at some point, either in shipping or storage. I contacted Vevor through the link on Amazon and they were very responsive. I explained the damaged and they asked me to see if it would work and we could work out something from there. After unpacking and using, it worked fine as it should (5stars). Vevor asked if I could keep the item and I said I would for a discounted rebate or a discount on another one to use with this one. Owe they do not seem to be interested in helping me since it works. I should have just returned it. I will just use it because it works fine, but the damage should have been taken care of by someone. ... show more

I will start by saying this review is more for Vevor than the product or Amazon. The small pamphlet they send is generic for different models. The illustrations/photos are too small to make out and they barely tell you anything. There isn't much assembly required but it would still be nice to have some actual instructions. There is no clear location of where or how to put place the metal rectangle which I am assuming is supposed to house the 9th pan as a water pan. The documentation mentions a part I did not receive with my unit. I don't actually think its necessary but I contacted them to be sure and ask about the water pan. After going back and forth 7 times with them the call center or whoever routes information cannot reach the supplier or technical support people. They cannot help me get any questions answered let alone parts or larger issues. I was waiting to get some answers before using the box but I will have to just go with it at this point and hope for the best. ... show more

Great units. GREAT for BBQ holds. We hold briskets 12+ hrs with ease. Takes the stress out of rushing/cooking a brisket to finish when it finishes and throw it in the warmer. Also frees up precious "Oven space" during the holidays. This double door one will hold a full size serving tray. The skinnier 5 stack will not but will hold cooking sheets. Both great units, but if you want to use serving pans, get the full size double door 4 stack. Works like a boss! That white adhesive is the DEVIL! You need to allocate 30-45 minutes to get it off, but you won't get all of it. They riveted it together, while covered, so little bits will be everywhere around the rivets.... Protects the stainless, but oh what a pain to get off! ... show more

Like all of the other reviewers have said the plastic coating that they put on this is ridiculous. It is a pain in the neck to get off. They put rivets over the top of the plastic, so no matter how hard you try it will have plastic left on it. In addition, it is a bizarre size. It fits a half size pan perfectly with tons of space all around it.. With that being said it is a great deal of wasted space because of the size you cannot fit 2 1/2 pans nor can you fit a full pan. Unfortunately, they do not sell three-quarter size. Disposable pans. And less space is a huge concern for you. This machine is really a waste. Step up and buy the next bigger machine. That's what I just did and waiting for it to be delivered. Their shipping process makes about as much sense as their plastic wrap process does. I purchased the product it was picked up in San Bernardino, CA and shipped to Katy Texas. Now it's being shipped back to Corona, CA. When it could've gone directly from San Bernardino to Corona within a day. ... show more

Just like everyone else says, the plastic wrap is a pain to remove. Takes about an hour. The main issue was right out of the box it didn't wor. It took more than an hour just to get to 122 degrees and then it wouldn't get any higher. I decided to poke around before boxing it back up and found the motor that spins the fan was not aligned with the fan. It was bent about 45 degrees out of line. I bent it back straight and fan started to actually push air. It seems to have fixed the issue as it's currently working. It heats up to whatever temp I set it to in about 20 min now and it's pretty accurate. ... show more

First, this thing works fine. It does a great job holding temp on food. I deducted 2 stars. One for the terrible packaging. The steel is covered with this white plastic material. It took hours to peel it all off. There are some spots where you just can't get it off. The plastic is applied the steel before it is assembled so the rivets prohibit any attempt to remove the plastic in one big piece. Second star is because of the size. The size is odd and will not fit a standard size hotel pan. A very odd choice for a food warmer. This thing would be 10 times better if the dimensions were changed.
