I don't normally do reviews, but I will say this is nice to have the only issues is when you get about halfway through the sauce the pump doesn't reach the bottom so you're not able to use the pump. Also, the Nacho cheese in the pump itself does not get heated. The on and off switch, is a little testy so I find I just have to leave it on and unplug it that way the next time. I don't have to fight with it.

Oh man, the nacho cheese has been flowing at my house! We have made homemade cheese sauces (cougar gold anyone?) We've used canned spicy nacho cheese, we've used the jars of cheesy chip dip, and someday soon we're gonna hit the hot fudge jackpot. This little cheese warmer is an absolute gem of a snack master, it keeps the orangey gold a'flowin on movie marathon nights, and we've even started making huge Bavarian pretzels to mop our cheese up. In the summer we end up serving breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, and it's exhausting to make that many foods. Every once in awhile now, we set this baby up and eat junk food involving cheese for every snack, and we might even go so far as to do a baked potato bar because we have a handy supply of melty cheese food already available. I promise you we eat real food too. The children get real vegetables multiple times on most days. But sometimes it's fun to just let your snack dawg run wild, and this is the warmer to do it with. It hasn't burned a single sauce. It's easy to set up and use, and has a small countertop footprint. Cleaning can be a chore when we do real cheese sauces, but it's worth it, and the nacho cheese comes right off. It works great, heating consistently every time. It's sturdy and durable, the quality feels like professional grade kitchen equipment. I would buy this in the future. We may only use it a couple times a month, but it is really handy on a busy weekend in a house with 9 people coming and going. I baked potatoes and blanched some broccolini and cauliflower, and pre-cooked a ton of bacon Friday night, threw a fancy cheese sauce together, and we munched on all of it saturday and sunday. At the end of the weekend I tossed the leftivers in a dish with some rice and chicken and we had a casserole and not one child complained. Highly recommend!

This is perfect for concession stands or even food trucks. I actually ordered it for a large family reunion function. The unit is stainless steel, commercial quality and comes with 2 pumps. I did a test run to see how long it would take to heat up some jalapeno cheese sauce for the nacho station and timed it. It took about 1 hour to get the cheese sauce hot - its a slow heater - I stirred it about 45 minutes and realized it pumped warmer cheese after I stirred it - so, stirring during the heating cycle might get faster results when you pump it out. after 1 hour it was hot and kept hot for the remaining hours. **Heating the sauce up a bit on the stove, might work better if there is a time crunch. I remember my volunteer concession stand days when the cheese took forever to get warm - and I thought it was a faulty machine. This is probably by design - This machine works great. For added info with kids around only the LID of the unit gets VERY HOT and the SIDES of the unit get warm where the front and back of the heating unit is luke warm to the touch at most. Safety wise you can only get burned if you touch the lid - the SIDES get lightly warm to the touch. So it is somewhat safe near little kids but not for their operation - Definitely a parent for the pumping of the cheese or chocolate! Box includes Nice Labels to tape on- Not stickers - for Nacho Cheese Sause", Hot Fudge, Caramel or Butter for popcorn. It works exactly as intended and perfect for large group functions. We have nacho day in my office every month or so. I've been using a sous vide setup to keep the cheese warm. But it is kinda messy. This warmer works well. The water bath heats up relatively quickly and at the 4 1/2 setting, the water temp stabilized at 162 deg. It is a lot lighter than I was expecting and some of the metal panels of the heater feel a bit sharp. Not knife sharp, but you would probably could cut yourself if you tried. I might try and sand it down a little. The only negative, and why I removed a star, is the pump doesn't come apart to facilitate cleaning. I have other food pumps and the collar on the top unscrews so the parts can be exposed and removed. I can't figure out how to take this one apart. It comes with two pumps, so I might have to risk damaging one to see how it is assembled. To clean it, I've pumped hot soapy water through it followed with clean water. Not ideal, but that is all I can do for now.
