This box is better than I thought. Made of fiberglass easy to work with and will last more years than the pvc box I had that crumbled after 12 years. Secure and easy access with 1/4 turn key (2 provided). Water tight gasket. Value for more than I paid. Very impressed. Size is perfect.

    • Strong Electrical Enclosure
Well built and strong. Used it to house the central control for a home alarm system. Did not want to make it easy for someone to locate and kill the alarm control (the remote mounted control makes all the noise but cannot disarm the system without the correct pin). Great unit for outdoor use also.

    • Not Steel!
Stars deducted for inaccurate description. This box is plastic, not steel. It seems to be well constructed and the DIN rail inside is handy. I ended up pulling out the gasket material as it would not allow the door to shut and stay closed without being latched forcefully.

The device does not have an Underwriters Laboratories certification, listing or mark. Without the UL mark the device is rejected during an inspection. NEC rules govern devices that can be safely and legally installed. Both of the VEVOR cabinets were rejected during inspections because they did not have a UL mark of any type. ... show more
