Positives: 1.Well made. Welds look great. Should easily hold the advertised weight of 1500 lbs. 2. Happy to see they use quality solid caster wheels. Complaints: 1. Assembly part numbers did not match up to pictured part numbers. I had to look at the picture and assemble it from that. If you have the skill to work on engines, then it shouldn't be too hard to assemble, however it's a bit frustrating to not have the instructions match up. 2. This is a minor complaint, but it would have been nice to have a quick release pin for the handle opposite the hand grip. This would keep it from dropping out if grabbing the engine and rotating it with the handle in place. I'll be buying a pin, drilling the handle, and installing it. Regardless, for the money, it's tough to find a better deal elsewhere and it looks great!

I bought this engine stand because it was advertised as being rated for 1,500 lbs - I figured it would easily handle my 1,200 lb engine. Wrong. Within minutes of setting the engine on the stand, the welds snapped and the whole thing collapsed. Not only did it fail at a weight well below its rated limit, but the failure caused over $500 in damages to the engine I was working on. The materials are cheap, the construction is terrible, and the quality control is clearly non-existent. If you value your projects, your tools, or your safety, stay far away from this stand. Absolute waste of money and a huge headache.

Few design issues that I would recommend correcting. Wheel installation not designed for large hands. Bar for turning engine should have and I installed a stop so handle will not slip. Otherwise pretty sturdy and good value for 1500lb rating.

The stand is solid with all the hardware. Flat washers are super thin. The issue with both stands I purchased is 1. The way they’re packaged destroys the painted finish, 2. Some of the pieces aren’t fully painted, and 3. Some of the pieces are badly orange peeled and have dirt in the paint. I give the stand a 5/5 but the paint 1/5.
