Yeah it’s heavy, it’s 75 foot of solid steel cable. What are people expecting? It worked amazing for me. When you first plug it in, you need to hit reset on the outlet plugin. It went in easy and ended up pulling out a bunch of wipes that the previous owners blessed me with. This is well worth the money. This is a budget drain snake and yet it worked perfectly. It’s extremely durable and I’ll get many uses out of it, although I honestly hope I’ll never have to clean the pipes again. Going to let family members use it. It’s better than one I had to rent in the past.

I made the mistake of ordering this one not realizing that this model does Not have wheels. It is very heavy. Am trying to get it replaced with a model with wheels to be able to move it around.

Kitchen sink would not drain for weeks. Tried almost everything. Baking Soda, vinegar, liquid plumber, hot water, you name it, I probably tried it. Even tried a small hand snake, which was really a waste of time. Came very close to calling a plumber. Would’ve cost me twice if I hadn’t purchased this. Worked great. Did the job I needed it to do. Sink drains better than ever. Just be mindful that this one has no wheels and is fairly heavy. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

I am VERY happy with this auger (75 ft, 1/2 inch, 370 W, manual feed, no wheels). The build quality is VERY good. I really appreciate the METAL cage style reel. The 370 W motor is more than enough. The 1/2 "snake" cable is adequate for consumer use (I wouldn't go any smaller). I like NOT having a wheeled cart because this 75 lb tool is compact and stays where it is set. I'm glad I skipped the "auto feed" feature; it is best to just use your two hands so you can feel what the end of the auger is touching. Plus, the "auto feed" is just something to break or obstruct. Honestly, this model is the one that you want. Note: I purchased a longer 6mm bolt and a 6mm nylon lock nut. I wanted to be sure that I didn't lose my cutting tools inside my main line. The nylon lock nut didn't budge after several runs. I recommend.
