I purchased this machine for an outdoor movie night with family and it worked fantastic! I was worried about the machine producing enough popcorn for everyone and probably could have gotten away with purchasing the smaller machine as this one popped more than enough for the group of 10 people. Plus fresh popped kernels are way better and healthier than the microwave type. Popped two batches of 1cup kernels each and machine produced good quality and quantity of popcorn, everyone loved it!! The clean up was pretty good, as were the instructions on how to clean after use. For the price this machine is build pretty sturdy and worth the money paid. And happy it got the job done. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this popper! Very commercial looking. The sides are glass and the item is certainly high end. I just had a movie night and it popped a ton of corn. Everything was to perfection with the majority of kernels popped. The only thing I did not like is the drop out aluminum piece under the door. The only thing keeping that is place are two little tabs that fit into slots. The tabs constantly come out and that pieces is not functionally friendly. I can live with that. It has a warming light and the item is very quiet. Good purchase

The media could not be loaded. This is an honest review of the Vevor Popcorn Machine that I purchased almost two years ago and have been using regularly ever since. Pros: This popcorn machine is decorative and the countertop version works great especially if you have a bar. The machine is durable for weekly use and well made. It is also very easy to use as there are only three buttons being the light, heat and oscillator. Opportunities: The only opportunity with this machine would be to slightly rethink design with cleaning in mind as the current design is challenging to clean. Overall: This is a great popcorn machine. The biggest challenge I had early on was perfecting my measurements of ingredients. For more on that, see video.

Makes great popcorn but we had a few issues with the parts. One major issue was the hinges for the glass door were all messed up so we had to put it on upside down...It still works and you can't really tell but the overall build quality is just not that great. But in terms of the final product, it's easy to use, quick, and produces great popcorn.

I bought this particular machine after WEEKS of reading product reviews. I particularly liked the idea that the kettle used wing nuts to hold the top on, so it is MUCH easier to clean. Not sure I'd bother if I had to use a screwdriver. I also liked that this machine has GLASS walls, rather than plastic which would eventually cloud and scratch. I put the machine together in about 5 minutes. The cart took longer. Hahaha. I originally didn't have the floor in correctly, but fixed that later. As a 66-year-old woman, I was able to manage the whole thing myself. This is a substantial machine. Read "heavy". I don't worry about it falling over, or breaking easily, however. It arrived VERY quickly. Even before the estimated date, and I was thrilled. I put it together immediately and made my first two batches of popcorn. I need to play around with proportions yet, but it worked well. I used "mushroom" style popcorn. I used the heating light, and it DID keep it warm. Being the OCD person that I am, I cleaned it up afterwards and was delighted that it only took a few minutes. As another person mentioned, I purposefully left out the screws holding the bottom tray, so that I could just lift it out to clean it. The kettle removes easily, too, and the wing nuts make it a snap to remove the cover to clean. Looks brand new again. The only "con" that I have so far is the door flap on the bottom. It is very hard to open and close and I'm afraid I will break off the tabs that hold it in place. I'm not sure if I'm having trouble because I didn't put the bottom tray screws in (so the tray may jiggle a bit when I'm trying to open the flap), or what the issue is. I'm just being careful with it when I open or close it. All in all, I'm thrilled with this purchase. I think it will keep up with my home use. I had intended to take it to a couple of events, but I'm not sure it is big enough..... but we will see how well it does at keeping up.

I waited for over a month and MANY attempts at making popcorn using this machine. First, I read ALL of the reviews and I only came across TWO that actually spoke of the very issue I'm facing. That is the popcorn itself pops without issue. However, it tastes STALE and not crunchy at all. I thought it was the popcorn, so I got a different brand, STILL the SAME. I changed the popping oil and STILL the SAME. I've used it MANY times over. But you know what they say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Well, I NEVER achieved the desired result. Now we have a glorified huge paperweight that we just stare at because we simply can't stand the STALE taste. After reading these comments, I'm surprised that only two people felt the way we do about this machine. If anyone knows a secret to making it taste better than stale cardboard, I'd love to know your secret. Other than that, I'd pretty much give mine away to anyone who wants it...... Just pay for shipping!
