I actually really like this cabinet. We wanted to add litter boxes to more areas in the house because we have six bedrooms and two major living areas. I put this together in my home office yesterday and I love it and the way it looks. Things worth noting in case you’re more picky than I am: - There were a few scratches on the laminate and the metal frame. Since this is going in my office, we’re not very many people will see, I don’t really mind them. Definitely didn’t want to waste anymore time putting it back in the box and returning it. - There are four screws missing that help put the black frame together. There were a couple tiny screws however, the holes that they are made to go in are too big so they fall right out. I secured it a little better using black duct tape, so if this was going in the living room or another common area, I would be really annoyed. - To secure each self to the metal frame, you have to drill your own holes, which is a pain in the butt. This added so much time to the assembly. - The directions have you put it together to where you can see the silver screws (there are no stickers with the laminate/fake wood like other pieces usually come with). If I had to put it together again, I would flip it to where they would face the wall instead. -The bottom part of this cabinet is pretty sturdy. However, once you get to the shelves, it is not sturdy at all. If you have children or pets that like to jump on things, I would be wary of buying this. Since it’s in my office, this won’t be a big issue for me. All in all, I do really like this piece and would probably buy it again since the price is so low compared to similar items. However, these are things that I would’ve liked to have known prior to purchasing. ... show more

Like others said, there were dings on edges when I unpacked it. Instructions are a bit lacking in clarity, but not impossible. Attaching the metal side supports with the teeny tiny screws provided didn’t work and should have been designed better. The doors should have been pre-drilled for the magnetic plates, as well as the shelves where the supports are supposed to attach. It is a pain to get them started on the laminated surfaces. I was disappointed that it wasn’t heavier duty than it is. It feels wobbly. It doesn’t look bad and hopefully works out. We’ll see. All in all, I hope my husband didn’t pay full price for this. ... show more

This shouldn't be bought by people who have a hard time putting things like this together. There were many missing pieces and several places where pre-drilled holes needed to be but wasn't. There were several pieces of hardware given, only half actually went to this unit. The pieces F & G were not long enough for the space, so when screwing them in , you will see screws exposed. -Remember to pre-punch the holes, some holes aren't fully punched out. -There are several places where a screw needs to go, but no pre-drilling was done. This will be very hard with just a hand screw. -Putting in the shelf bracket, the company didn't provide any screws for this. I used M5 metric screws with M6 hex nut -Connecting the metal poles, the company didn't provide any screws for this, so I used some random screw. -The screws for connecting the door handle, the company didn't provide, so I used some random screws. The construction was janky at best. There are several places with the MDF was not painted and exposed. I don't see this lasting for very long with the construction and the exposed MDF especially if someone uses this for a litter box holder or in a high moisture environment. ... show more

Looks and work good. You do need a masters in assembly to put it together. And there were no holes in the shelves so we had to mark and drill them ourselves

Since buying this we have not had issues with smelling the litter box. It looks great and easy to assemble. Only downside is one of the decorative slats on the front has fallen off, I am sure I can glue it back on. If I could rate it higher I would!
