I've had this fridge for about a year, and used it extensively. I have a yurt that is off grid that I use as a vacation property, and I used this cooler as my primary refrigerator/freezer for the year. I powered the whole yurt with a 400W solar panel setup, and this fridge draws about 60W when running. It kept my food nice and cold in ambient temperatures anywhere between 40 degrees and 110 degrees. I've also used it for picnics and tailgating events and it holds a lot of drinks. The lid can be easily flipped either direction, the unit is easy to clean, and the handles hold up to carrying it around completely full. It has a drain plug in the bottom and a removeable center divider to convert it between two chambers and one chamber, and each chamber has independent temperature control. I got the DUEL zone refrigerator about two weeks ago. Followed the instructions, let it sit for almost 24 hrs instead of the 12 they suggested before I plugged it in. When I plugged it in it did cool down very fast. But it will not function as a duel zone. I have gone back and forth with them. I gave them a very detailed run down. They counter with we want more. They sent me a video, IN CHINESE to “help” me troubleshoot it. As you can see I’m fluent in ENGLISH. Now they’re requiring me to make a video to prove the one side will not come on. I’ve bought VEVOR products before and had no issues. I will probably just spend more for a better pro with better customer service/support. Amazon was no help. They told me I couldn’t exchange it because they had none in stock. That was a a straight up lie. I could have ordered another one while I was on the phone with them with the same delivery timeframe. It does work well as a single zone freezer or fridge, but I specifically bought this for road trips and need both. So far I’m regretting doing any business with them. ... show more

We use this in our truck bed (F350) when shopping (fits under the truck bed cover) or towing our 5th wheel. We connect it to our 12v Bluetti lithium battery which is plugged into the trucks 120v outlet (just in case we need to recharge the battery on long travel days). We ran it for 9 hours off the battery alone and it only used 20% in 80 degree weather with the fridge set at 38 degrees. Plenty of storage since you don't loose space to ice like in a cooler. Using it as a 2nd fridge at camp so we don't have to keep going into the rig for beverages or food when cooking. ... show more

This is powerful enough to reach cool temperatures quickly, but doesn't maintain these temperatures in the freezer portion. I suspect this is due to the freezer portion being too close to the hot compressor. It doesn't give you the option to swap the freezer and refrigerator portions. It seems more stable as a freezer or a refrigerator, but not both. ... show more
