Features

  • Sufficient Capacity: This alcohol still provides you with a fermentation capacity of 13.2 gallons. Boiler barrel: 15.7"x15.7" (40x40 cm), condenser: 7.9"x4.7" (20x12 cm), thumper: 7"x4" (18x10 cm), which can ferment up to 50 liters of raw materials. Perfect for family-together parties. All parts are made of food-grade materials, including silicone, stainless steel, and copper.
  • Rapid Cooling: The distillery kit adopts an open cooling method. The copper coil has rapid thermal conductivity and has a large contact area with the coolant, providing a lower distillation temperature. A circulating water pump is attached to save cooling water. The rubber pad under the condenser can insulate and accelerate cooling.
  • Easy to Operate: The alcohol still kit has a real-time thermometer on the lid, with a dual-display of Celsius and Fahrenheit, which is convenient for monitoring the temperature of the wine during the distillation process. You can put spices in the thumper keg to add flavors to your alcohol, improving its taste to your satisfaction without the professional flavoring technology.
  • Durable & Tight Seal: Unlike regular tubes, we use food-grade silicone tubes, which are flexible and tough, and are not easy to bend to ensure a good seal. Four buckles and silicone gaskets inside the lid help to seal tightly. In addition, the package has a one-way exhaust valve, which can be easily used during the fermentation process.
  • Versatile Application: There are many ways to use our alcohol still kit. According to your preferences, you can make Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Water Distiller, Ethanol, Essential Oils, etc. The thickened bottom allows various heating methods, including gas stoves, firewood, electric ceramic heaters, etc.

  • Pretty good
Size: 13.2Gal Pattern Name: Home Brewing Kit
Pretty good set up for the beginner distiller but afterwards learning the basic need to upgrade the worm it’s way to small and the thimper needs to be bigger also so you don’t get the right amount of product out that you should.sets up easy but instructions suck and I would recommend this product

  • Seemed like a gimmick, but it's incredibly powerful. Good first time still!
Size: 5Gal Pattern Name: Home Brewing Kit
Works to both ferment and then later distill. This is a great starter kit. After your first batch you'll do good to purchase tools to measure sugar and alcohol content. I never experienced any problems with leaky seals once I stopped being lazy and used a wrench. I've made about 6 batches so far, friends are impressed and love it. Pump is a little strong but if you're doing this outside then it's not a big deal. After 1 or two batches I haven't used the thumper again, not really a good size for a thumper. Thermometer might be a bit off, but it's consistent which is the most important thing. What I didn't realize before I bought this was how long it takes! If you're just using bread yeast it might take 3 weeks to ferment and then 6 hours to distill, but getting 8 quarts out each run (4 of which are good enough quality to drink, the other 4 you put in the next batch) makes it worth it. I'll get the first quart at 140+ proof and stop around the 8th quart which is usually down to 40 proof. Very happy with my purchase, haven't bought liquor from the store since. The sky's the limit with this and if you're intrigued by the idea (or want to save money) this could do it for you. Highly recommend for a tinker or foodie. I've been having fun with infusions such as peach, charred oak, and ginger and fermented products from my house such as tomatoes, prickly pear, apples, potatoes. ... show more

  • Great beginner still and great value
Size: 5Gal Pattern Name: Home Brewing Kit
The media could not be loaded. When I got it it came with everything it said it was supposed to have and it came with a copper pipe to make the slobber pot into a thumper I just had to bend in the copper pipe a bit to get it to fit and then hammered it in and it has worked great for me so far. I haven’t had any problems with the seals I have done about 10-15 long runs and haven’t had any issues with them I had heard of people having issues with them but I haven’t yet. I did upgrade the condenser coil to a bigger one I just got some refrigerant line and took the hardware off of the condenser coil that it came with and put it onto a Home Depot bucket which was not hard to do at all I just need a pipe cutter and pipe flare device and then I was able to put it together. I made a bigger condenser coil cause I was having issues with the one it came with heating up the water to quickly but building a bigger one solved that issue. The water pump it came with works great. The setup was super easy and straight forward as long as you have some know how. I have heard of peoples thermometer on the pot steaming up and breaking I haven’t had any issues with mine it has worked great and has read the correct temps. Overall great product especially for the price hands down would recommend especially for beginners it also comes with a booklet with mash recipes which is cool tho I lost it so I can tell you if they are good or what not but everything has been working great and I have been having a blast with it. ... show more

  • There's some good here
Size: 5Gal Pattern Name: Home Brewing Kit
As I said, "there's some good here. It is constructed of heavy material, the welds appear to be strong, the fittings are fairly good quality and it works with, and it works with my induction stove. With that said, there's a couple areas that will need to be improved upon. 1. The outflow for the worm cooling is much too small. You find yourself continuously adjusting the inflow valve to keep the worm container from overflowing. It just doesn't drain fast enough with the small fitting going out and cutting down on the inflow will not deliver enough cooling water to the worm. 2. Once you get up to operating temperature, the seals start to fail due to internal pressures. No amount of loosening, tightening, or repositioning would fix the problem. The only solution is teflon tape and use different seals. 3. There is no down-spout for the thumper. Without a down-spout to the bottom of the container, you're defeating the purpose of a thumper keg. The heated product simply goes in one hole and out the other without adequately heating up whatever you have in the thumper. This might work for spices, or flavors (I've not tried either), but it won't work for double distillation. You'll have to buy the pieces and construct a down-spout for the thumper input line. The down-spout needs to extend to the bottom of the thumper keg, at least low enough to extend below the contents of the keg. These are minor things but they do take-away from the performance of the still and will have to be remedied for maximum yields. Overall, it did produce product but not effeciently, so I give it 3 stars. ... show more
