These corks came in various sizes. I needed to plug holes on my gazebo when that I noticed yellow jacket bees were trying to build nests inside holes where the screws were that assembled the gazebo. Ironically, with thus variety pack of corks, very few actually fit any of the bottles I needed them for well. I don’t know what size these are made form but standard American bottles they were not.

A knot in the wood of the deck flooring got old and popped out. Concerned a dropped key might fall thru it when fumbling to unlock the door so gently hammered one of the large corks into the hole with a rubber head hammer after shaving a little off the side of the cork. Stained it multiple times and it blends well now.
