Arrived timely and undamaged. Needs to be fully charged (out the box) and there are a lot of different wines that do not fit this system. Seems unnecessary and too much of a hassle just to save some wine.

The Coravin Model Eleven is pretty nice, but it could use some improvements. As another reviewer noted, the replacement needles cost $99. Not great. Another thing I don’t like is that with other models, they say to purge the needle right before you insert the needle into a bottle to avoid adding extra oxygen. They also recommend doing a purge if you switch bottles. This model has no trigger and there is no easy way to do a manual purge. I emailed Coravin Customer Support about this and the agent told me that it is possible to purge by tilting the Coravin. This does not seem to work for me. The Coravin won’t release argon unless a bottle is in place and the needle is inserted. It would be nice if there was a way to manually purge (like double-clicking the button or some other method). The connected app is nice, and it lets you control your pour rate and how big a sample you get and you can monitor battery life and capsule status. It’s nice, but I’m not sure how often I’ll use it. I own a Model Six, and I like that it is cheaper to buy needles for it, it is easy to purge, and it doesn’t need to be recharged. This is good, but not great.

Warning: needle not compatible with other Coravin needles AND breaks easy AND they are out of replacements for at least a month. DONT buy. Buy the cheaper coravin

Whilenit works great, buying this is a little bit like buying at Gillette razor. If you need a replacement needle they make you buy another spout as well even though the spout you have is perfectly good. So something that should be about a $60 needle replacement suddenly becomes $100 replacement which is about 20% of the entire product by the way

I’m really not sure if $500 is worth it but it works as advertised it doesn’t completely stop when you set it for a glass or sip it just slows down when you lift a pore it’s spits out a cup full of droplets of wine because of the gas pressure but overall I guess it’s worth it
