Features

  • Sufficient Capacity: This alcohol still provides you with a fermentation capacity of 3 gallons. Boiler barrel: 9.8" X 9.8" (25 x 25 cm), condenser: 7.9" X 4.3" (20 x 11 cm), which can ferment up to 11.4 liters of raw materials. Perfect for family-together parties. All parts are made of food-grade materials, including silicone, stainless steel, and copper.
  • Rapid Cooling: The distillery kit adopts an open cooling method. The copper coil has rapid thermal conductivity and has a large contact area with the coolant, providing a lower distillation temperature. The rubber pad under the condenser can insulate and accelerate cooling.
  • Easy to Operate: The alcohol still kit has a real-time thermometer on the lid, with a dual-display of Celsius and Fahrenheit, which is convenient for monitoring the temperature of the wine during the distillation process.
  • Durable & Tight Seal: Unlike regular tubes, we use food-grade silicone tubes, which are flexible and tough, and are not easy to bend to ensure a good seal. Four buckles and silicone gaskets inside the lid help to seal tightly. In addition, the package has a one-way exhaust valve, which can be easily used during the fermentation process.
  • Versatile Application: There are many ways to use our alcohol still kit. According to your preferences, you can make Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Water Distiller, Ethanol, etc. The thickened bottom allows various heating methods, including gas stoves, firewood, electric ceramic heaters, etc.

  • For the money worth it!
Size: 5Gal Style: Brewing Kit
So let's remember for the product you are paying for an hamburger not a steak dinner. This still will fill you up and get rid of your hunger but it's not fancy and doesn't have all the fixings. For the price it's worth it! For an entry level brewer/distiller it's perfect. Honestly it is about the same prices as building your own still but probably safer. Pros 1)Good construction no dents, missing parts, or manufacturing Oops 2)All in one! I have heard some hate on the idea of fermenting in your distilling pot but I tried it and it seems to be fine. Just don't run high heat when distilling. But for sanitation having everything in one pot and it stays in there is nice. 3) All compression fittings! So I like that we don't have to worry about solvents and solder. Plus if something isn't sealed right I can fix it easier with a wrench rather than a blow torch. Con 1) Doesn't work with induction! Easily fixed with a steel plate but still another step and makes it less efficient 2) Condenser is onto of the still! So yes there is heating/cooling issues with this design. Think outside the box and swing the condenser to the side and put something under it for support. BOOM problem solved, thank you compression fittings!! 3)Throw away junk! Throw away the airlock it's junk and buy a new. While your at it throw away the photocopied instruction and YouTube Barley and Hops Distilling. Throw away the hoses and buy new food-grade hoses (I'm just suspect of the ones supplied). ... show more

  • It works perfect!!
Size: 3Gal Style: Brewing Kit
The media could not be loaded. Ignore my make shift stand I’m still learning. I make hibiscus and rose water with this and it works perfect!! It was my first time ever using a still and I’m so glad I tried this one. It is user friendly and wasn’t complicated at all like I anticipated it would be. Since this video I have learned quite a bit like use ive instead of ice water lol it makes the process so much quicker but I’ve had fun in the learning process. Cheers to better skin thanks to my still!! ... show more

  • Great equipment.
Size: 5Gal Style: Brewing Kit
I feel like this kit is missing pieces that could make it more efficient and the information is a little short on details but I'm sure a smarter mind could better figure it out and maybe have a better working space than the one I have. I have no doubt it works great but I didn't have the right station to work with it. ... show more

  • Happy beginner
Size: 3Gal Style: Brewing Kit
Got a 3 gal. All parts mentioned in the picture were there. Excellent beginner still. Also compact enough to fit on a stove, in a small kitchen. Very easy to assemble even for non-handy inexperienced. I am impressed by the instructions manual, which is not fancy, but very detailed, and includes lots of tips and recipes. One of my shut-off valves was missing a nut, but I didn't mind since I only used the bottom valve to drain the water. The upper valve (missing nut) is for a pump to pump cold water in, which is not totally necessary if supervised, and it does not come with the 3 gal package. I added ice cubes and ice water throughout the process. Super happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Cannot be used on an induction stove.
Size: 3Gal Style: Brewing Kit
The still is functional but the product description claims it can be used with an induction stove which is 100% false.

  • Outstanding product, highly recommend
Size: 9.6Gal Style: Brewing Kit
Ran my first batch last night, and it worked like a champ. This thing is MASSIVE though. I had to split burners on my stove to run it, but would work great on a propane burner. There are very few downfalls to this system. The biggest being is you need to know how to use it. YouTube helps tremendously. Would like to see a longer line from the pot to the cooling worm (I had to get creative to keep my condensing pot away from the main pot, no point in adding heat for no reason) and I would highly recommend the purchase of a small water pump, I'll add a link to the one I used. Other than the few minor things, this is an outstanding product and should I ever find myself in need of another one, this will be the one I pick. No regrets! Hope this helps! Lane G. • Poor materials and workmanship, cheap though.
Size: 5Gal Style: Brewing Kit
The still did not cost much considering what a quality one would cost, and it looks good. However, looks can be deceptive. Others may have a better experience than I did. I wanted to use it to distill water. The first small issue was getting the condenser pot to sit flat on the boiler surface. To their credit, the instructions mention that pulling or pushing the condenser copper coil may be needed. It was needed...a lot. Still, this was not a big problem. Next, I filled up the condenser pot with water and connected the hoses to a bucket with a small, low-capacity water pump. Even before turning on the pump, I noticed that water was leaking out of the pot past the outside of the two control valves. The instructions stated that the flexible washers on the valves go on the outside of the pot. They were. Tightening them more did not help. I put them on the inside but had the same result. One of the valves stopped leaking after tightening it more, so I tried tightening the other that still leaked, but again, it would not stop leaking. Finally, I tightened it too much and the brass housing on the valve came apart. This was when I noticed that when the holes for the valves were drilled, the insides were not smoothed off but had sharp ridges. I don't know if this was part of the problem or not. Removing all the hardware from the condenser pot showed that all three holes had the same issue. The condensate fitting at the bottom had two flexible bands around the inside in addition to the main flexible washer on the outside. Were they there to prevent a leaking issue? I am not a happy camper. The best thing I can say for the still is that it was shiny. Smeagol (Gollum) would have liked it. ... show more
