Buying this tricycle was a big mistake. I thought I would get my SO a good gift. However, it was a disaster. Bottom line: save your money, look somewhere else. Details: The bike assembly was easy. The instructions are very simplified, and the manual did not help a lot, but it gives you a general idea about the assembly process. You will need two people, and a big stand or a desk to put it on, or maybe a set of bricks or jacks. The first indicators of problems with the bike started with the assembly. Some screws which supposed to be locked in place by the frame are moving freely. Some other screws are very bad in qauality, that you cannot fit the nuts on them. The tools that come with the bike is a joke, get yourself a real set of tools to actually put it together. When its finished, we tried to inflate the tires as they came flat from the box. None of them will reach more than 15 psi before bulging out! Each one of them, no matter what you try, will bulge out when you fill it with air. I tried everything, a manual air pump (a smaller one and a big one), a compressor, fixed the alignment of the tire and wheels, but nothing helps. When it hits the 15 or 16 PSI, it starts bulging out! So, with that, we tried to test it, and it was horrible. It will not move easily, then it will start accelerating quickly, then it leans (when you brake) to one side, and you might fall off! Oh, and I tried to send them a customer service request, but I got an auto reply saying to upload photos. I had very high hopes for this trike, but I guess it is always true: you get what you pay for. ... show more

I never learned to drive a regular bike and this tricycle is the perfect purchase for me to join my husband and my kids on a bike ride. Great for family outings and creating new outdoor activities.

The box arrived damage and I was hesitant as the parts inside might be damaged- and they were. Several of the parts were bent. Once a bike was assembled, the rear brakes did not work. I purchased a one speed and I would definitely not recommend this unless you have perfectly level ground to ride on. Any incline whatsoever was a work out. It would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t misleading about the color. I’m usually not even a blue person but the light blue was so pretty! I’m definitely not a dark blue girlie
