well made, nice features... seems to do it's job... what's not to like? I will note that I purchased the version of this with a built in pump and that pump is not particularly quiet, so if you can get the version without a pump for cheaper it could be worthwhile to setup your own sump pump. If the pump version is cheaper, then go with that one and you can bypass the pump if you find the noise intolerable. I've had mine on auto mode for about a month now and it keeps my crawlspace at a decent humidity level, which has greatly improved the comfort in an adjoining room - the room doesn't smell musty, and the room maintains a comfortable temperature much more easily and is much less drafty despite a total lack of insulation. ... show more

Fantastic. The auto on/off function when it's too cold gives me some peace of mind I won't have to go down into the crawlspace to service it. Our crawlspace is not encapsulated, has plastic tarp on the floor and the humidity in the living space would get to 75% on some days. The humidity is now regularly below 50% (I set the dehumidifier to 45%). Beware this unit is built like a tank, so it's 60 pounds. DO NOT BUY! Mine broke after 7 months, it took forever for them to send me parts to fix it myself and because they took so long it went past the warranty period and basically they told me it’s my problem now, and they will not resolve my issue. PLEASE don’t waste your money and time on this, find something with a better warranty period and a company that doesn’t just send you parts to fix it yourself, most people can not just replace parts like this nor should you have to after only 7 months of service from a unit. ... show more
