Description

Ariat Men’s Groundbreaker Steel-Toe Work Boots are made for the long haul: strong, sturdy, and styled with Western flair. They are designed with the Ariat’s 4LR Technology for foot support and cushioning along with extra metatarsal protection and stability technology. These boots have a mesh lining that keeps your feet dry both from internal and external perspiration of any kind. The steel-toe will cut down the dangers of preventable injuries in the place or field of work. They are made with an extra comfortable insole with a higher rebound. With the 10” shaft height and protective steel-toe, you can wear them to the construction site, warehouse, factory, or farm work. With the Duratread outsole, you won’t accidentally slip on any slippery surface. The rubber outsole is flexible and resistant to oil, slips, and acids. Some additional features of these metatarsal work boots are the four-row stitch pattern and a 90° heel. Safety toe is ASTM F2413-11 M/1/75 C/75 EH rated. MetGuard is ASTM F2413-11 Mt 75 rated for metatarsal protection. Ariat is a leader in developing advanced technologies to deliver products that outperform in a variety of demanding environments. • Best boot ever used
Size: 8 Color: Brown
Very tight at the top of your foot. Took 3 days to break in. The meta tarsol is great for my job, but some pain endured during breakin. My recommendation is to soak boot in water with them on. I wear a size 10 shoe but buy an 8d because of my experience with these type of boots. I was questioning the size at first bit but now it fits perfect. The quality is very good. Pair #2 Got a little over a year off last pair. I use a boot dryer. I ordered them 1/2 size bigger and bam, what a difference. They’re immediately comfortable. The only reason I bought this second pair is becausen the heal section was ripped out after using it for a year. I’m glad I did go bigger, I’m sure they’ll get loose quicker now but I was dreading the long break in I had on the last pair. 8.5d now. Happy with these & feel like I will always buy these, what a great boot. Covers all safety aspects I need at work. Again, I believe the boot dryer is a big deal. I’m a heavy equipment mechanic. I stand on concrete min 12hrs a day. I’ve purchased all kinds of boots. $600-$100. These are the best boot for my body, back doesn’t hurt, feet don’t hurt, good traction and control. ... show more

  • Best Pair of Metatarsal Boots I've Ever Owned
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
Year 3 Update: I've now owned these boots for three years. I still love them. They haven't worn out. I like them as much now as I did when I originally wrote this review two years ago. Attached is a photo of them after three years of almost daily use around town, at the factory, or in the yard. Original Review: I work at a factory that requires the use of Metatarsal shoes for protection. Over the last decade, I've worn dozens of different pairs of boots and shoes--slip-ons, zip-ups, and lace-ups--from different manufacturers. These are, without exception, the most comfortable pair I've ever owned. I've had them for a year now and they've held up wonderfully to heavy use both at work and around town--they're so comfortable that I don't change out of them when I leave work, and regularly wear them on the weekends (i.e. when metatarsal foot protection isn't needed--I just like the way they look and feel). Unlike most metatarsal boots, they don't have a huge unsightly bulge that looks ridiculous outside of an industrial setting. They look just like what you see in the amazon photos. If/when they ever wear out, I intend to buy the exact same pair of boots again. ... show more

  • Takes time to break in
Size: 10 Color: Brown
Good pair of boots. I've worn the standard steel toe ariat square toe boots for years. A new job required met guards so I got these. Took a few weeks to break in the met guard part of the boot to get it to stop hurting the top of my foot but now fit great and are comfortable.

  • My husband was down for nearly 2 weeks!
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Brown
This metguard is terrible!! It had my husbands back out for 2 weeks! These boots are very unforgiving and had we known the metguard would do this we would have never purchased. For the companies that require you to wear them I would find another job before my husband put his foot in another pair of these. What a waste of $200 and ariat won’t do anything about it. We will continue to wear twisted X. Once you wear them you will never go to another brand again!! ... show more

  • Comfortable strong boot
Size: 10 Color: Brown
Working 10-12 hours is no problem in these, the insole is great for standing all day. Sizing, find out your boot size by measuring, it’s not always gonna be your shoe size, i’m an 11 shoe, and a 10 boot. Always condition your leather Steel toe gets cold in winter
