This stand looks like it'll be great but I can't finish assembling it because they didn't send me all the required nuts. Looks like there's supposed to be 9 nuts in total, but I only got 2 in the package. Someone from VEVOR please contact me, and I'll change my review to 5 stars upon the receipt of the missing parts. EDIT: UPDATE: I haven't talked to anyone from VEVOR, but I did get a hold of an Amazon customer service who was helpful but wanted me to send back the entire heavy item that I had already begun to assemble so that they could replace it and hopefully have the right amount of nuts included in the new package. I declined that because I think it's silly to send the whole thing back if all I need is 7 nuts. The Amazon rep offered me a $5 credit for my trouble, which I gratefully accepted. I am giving this product 2 stars because after buying my own nuts from the hardware store and assembling the stand, it became apparent that instead of the 9 nuts the instructions indicate you need, you actually need 11 nuts to put this thing together properly. Thankfully I had bought a few extra nuts because they come in packages of 5 anyway. The instruction booklet was pretty terrible. Tiny pictures. Hard to understand exactly what they want you to use. It also did not indicate that I'd need 2 extra nuts than the parts list indicated. ... show more

Let's get straight to the jab: this VEVOR stand is sturdy enough for light to moderate bag work, but be prepared to dodge some frustrating assembly jabs in the ring. Build quality seems solid. Thick steel tubing and a wide triangular base inspire confidence for taking on your average heavy bag. Adjusting the height is a breeze, with pin locks that slide smoothly and hold tight (unlike my shaky footwork). It even doubles as a pull-up bar, though I wouldn't trust it for anyone over 150lbs. Now, about that assembly... Calling the included instructions "cryptic" would be an insult to riddles. I'm no mechanic, but putting together IKEA furniture blindfolded has felt more intuitive. It took some trial and error to decipher the pictograms and get things bolted together. And while everything fit eventually, some parts felt like they were wrestling each other for dominance. ... show more

    • Annoying to build and not stable enough on its own.
Putting this thing together was a real pain. Had to use the video for alignment of the parts, and the paper diagram to know if I'm using the right bolt. Instead of using something easy like an L wrench, they decided to use regular bolts with flat wrenches to work with. Took me forever to finally finish this thing. The good news is that the pull up bar can hold me, and I weigh around 200lbs. The bad is that the holder lifts up when using a punching bag. You have to use added weights on the base to keep it still. Finally the bag holder can fold up, but you have to remove the center piece from the base or it wont fold up. Im pretty happy with this, but I feel that there is way too many inconveniences to give this a great review. ... show more

The holes on the main bar where you put the bolt and washer in are not cut at all. The thick layer of plastic coating is still on. Horrible skinny support beams as well when I was trying to cut out the hole hand slipped and got cut on the metal piece that hadn’t been cut properly

The instructions were difficult to follow and doesn't actually tell you to put the support bars on. The video moves very quickly but does help. Had some challenges building by myself but after it was setup, it was quite sturdy held my 100lb punching bag fine and my 190lb self (without the punching bag on) up fine with out extra reinforcement necessary but may be advised good for a budget friendly dual option of pull ups and punching bad stand ... show more

Maybe the best deal on aa heavy bag stand I have seen. This is made with heavy gauge metal, very sturdy, and cheap compared to others. The only problem is the assembly, directions are kind of shoddy. But that being said it isn't extremely complicated so even with no mechanical aptitude it can be assembles in 30 minutes or less ... show more
