I really do reviews, but this thing is awesome. Works perfectly, the app is easy to use and I actually like it better than using the controls on the cooler. Definitely can keep things Frozen on one side if you want or the other. There's an eco mode, or if you want to cool it down really quick you can put it on high. You can remove the lid and turn it around. Comes with cutting board, and bottle opener. Two metal baskets makes it super easy to unload, just pull them out with everything in it. It's super quiet. I love this fridge so much! It was the perfect size for my teardrop trailer and after being used regularly for over a year everything still works. This year we did a 6 week road trip in which the fridge was plugged in and used for the whole 6 weeks, minus weekly clean outs, with no problems. We traveled through some very high summer temperature, and although that did mean the motor was running more, it always kept the food cold. Recently my husband stored it and plugged it in with the lid open for a month. I thought for sure it would be dead as the interior light was on. But miraculously it still works great. This is my second Vevor Cooler/Fridge/freezer and couldn't be happier. The first one I bought 3 months ago runs every day since purchased, like a champ. No problems. This one, my second, I bought 'used' supposedly in good condition. It was unused in the original box, with all parts/instructions complete. Perfect. Tested: Was cooled down to 33 degrees in 15 minutes. Bluetooth, display all work perfect. A brand new Vevor for 75$ off the original price, free shipping to Hawaii? Are you kidding me. After one year, this fridge is going in the trash. Errors out immediately and will not get cold. Messaged seller several times to get support, but never received assistance. Garbage!

I purchased this portable refrigerator for a van conversion. I think it represents a good value for light use. Comparison refrigerators of higher quality are over $1000. My first observations for performance were good. From 70° to 34° in about 15 minutes on the refrigerator side-- phenomenal really. And then the freezer portion took about 35 to 40 minutes to get down to zero. The longer this runs, the less the differential there is between set temperature and actual temperature. At first the fluctuations were fairly large – in the 8 to 10° range. Initial usage showed pretty close to 80 watts of power being used. Once this is up to temperature and has been running for a while my average usage has been around 35 Watts. In eco-mode it can drop down to 24 to 25 watts on 12 volt. The biggest thing I notice on eco-mode is the temperature difference is greater. 35 Watts on "Max" mode is not bad though. The unit certainly runs a lot more than my standard household refrigerator, and I hear the fan more than I hear the compressor. There are some minor vibrations, but nothing major. I actually think once this is loaded up with food it will probably cycle less, as the contents will give back some cold. I also think it would benefit greatly with some extra insulation. I'm going to do a pull out drawer in my van, and will add 1 to 1-1/2 inches of some rigid foam insulation, which should help the cycling. I think this is running probably half the time, as opposed to one third of the time. That's what I recall from my higher end fridges from previous vans. Bottom line is it's just not as efficient at holding the cold. The app works very well, and was very easy to connect. About the only thing I'd like to see is cumulative energy usage for the day, but I have some other meters that can determine that. I did buy the five-year assurance plan, just in case this unit decides to fizzle out within a few years. My understanding is they last about two years of heavier use before the compressor goes. The manufacturer offers these with an LG compressor, but I don't think you can buy them configured this way under the Vevor name. This is essentially a rebranded Apicooler. Apicooler I think sells these without the basket, so I think this represents pretty good value here on Amazon as they include the baskets. I also like the fact you can run this on 12 or 24 V or on 120 or 240. Unfortunately there's not dual inputs, so you would have to disconnect to run on 120, but at least it's possible. I have no idea of the evenness of the temperatures, but will check in more detail. There's no internal fans, so I suspect there are cold and hot spots. The hardware is all plastic, as are the wheels, and it's just a friction fit lid. They've got a cut corners somewhere to keep the price down. I don't much care for the friction fit lid, as it's hard to open. I bought the 62 quart model and although it has wheels I would hardly call this thing "portable". There's just not much ground clearance, and loaded up with food it would probably be 50+ pounds. For my van conversion it works well. Overall I think these represent a good value as there is a huge cost savings over a high-end unit like dometic, Engel, ABR, etc. ... show more

This is my 3rd Vevor unit, very happy with the brand. This one was a recent return which I bought used, as new ones have been out of stock for a while. When I took it out of the box, there is no evidence it was ever connected to power. I suspect the other buyer may have been expecting it to have a battery, as there is a label on shipping box showing it contains Lithium-Ion Batteries. I have it connected to an Ecoflow River Pro battery bank, not concerned with built in battery. This one replaces a Vevor 53qt, which is just a little bit too small. Now I have matching 63qt units, one will be a fridge, the other a freezer. ... show more

I purchased this for our RV for a trip to BM. It served us well in harsh weather conditions. The app offers more functions than the display. Has key lock that we used to prevent our kid changing settings. Since last September, it is standing outside in the backyard 24/7 plugged in to the batteries charged by solar and they keep a big stash of soda and beer cold all the time. The built in opener is very useful too, but I never used the cutting board. It's nice to have though. I wish it came with batteries, but I'm happy with it as-is.
