First of all and most importantly, it works. This thing saved me a bunch of money helping my parents out with their main sewer line, then I let a friend borrow it who used it so many times (his house and others) he bought it from me with the promise I could borrow it when I needed it. It's not well built. It shakes, it rattles, things fall off (really just need some loctite blue on several of the fasteners). Basically don't expect Rigid for HF prices. Take time to educate yourself about what this diameter line can and cannot do, learn the purpose of the different heads you can attach, and go to town. Also, don't start and stop the spinner too much. It likes to stay moving, and things get disorganized in the drum if you start and stop it a lot. ... show more

The instruction book was poorly written by a foreign person and you could not understand anything in it. The wire coil was all knotted up. Was no happy with product wouldn’t be y anymore foreign made junk

I bought this thinking it would be nice to unclog my drain myself. I read all the directions an got started. It was going fine until it hit the clog. In a flash it started twisting an grabbed my glove, that came with it an it almost broke my thumb an wrist. I wouldn’t recommend using it without someone else being there. My daughter was watching me an if it wasn’t for her, I don’t know what would have happened. ... show more

This snake is great. (Came with the handle on backwards as you can see lol) Just please TAKE YOUR TIME! It can easily tangle inside of the frame if you’re going to fast. Other than that it’s easy to use. It feeds forward and back once you tighten the tension knob. Unclogged my 2 clean outs and sewer main in less than an hour!!! Like the powerful motor and 50 foot length, plus the rest of the attachments (plus the foot switch,) and the wheeled (don't need to inflate them) built in dolly. Liked the price, given I didn't want to rent one nor did I want to pay the high prices at a retailer (even with a 10% off coupon.) Liked the fast delivery (free shipping to my front door and almost real-time notifications.) It was packaged professionally and well padded inside the box. The scotch tape seal was broken (on the top side,) so I verified all the pieces were inside without any further issue. The basement entrance area backfilled with rain water, causing slow leakage from around the door, due to dirt and leaves clogging the (2 inch) drain pipe. Used a handheld auger but it was not effective enough to fully clear the clogged drain. I will use this product on all other drains, given it's got a good warranty and I plan to keep using the auger to take care of multiple issues with clogged drains for many years to come. ... show more
