I purchased this item after a recommendation by a Veterinarian. Our elderly cat first started urinating in the house (on carpet) when we fostered a couple of cats. Nature's Miracle was not working. Thankfully, urinating in the house stopped after those cats left. Then our elderly cat got very sick & started urinating in the house (on carpet) again after a kidney infection. Unfortunately, urinating in the house did not stop after the infection was healed. This product has worked well. It is very easy to use (it is a spray foam) & seems to eliminate the smell of cat urine. She has been hospitalized twice in the past year. While our elderly cat was urinating in 2 main spots in the house, we caught her seeking out other corners in the house to urinate. We have had to use pee pads & eventually got a 4-tier cage to use at night. It is important to use this product first before washing any washable items (pet bedding, kid's clothes laying on floor). I am a very picky cleaner of throw rug carpets. I hate to put them in the wash and to air dry them for a week to dry them out. This is the most amazing carpet cleaner I have ever used. You simply spray this product on the spot after you have removed any remaining stain residue. And the you leave it alone! The spot disappears or you spray it again which is very rarely needed. We used to get this from our vet. We have tried the big name brands but nothing compares to how this gets the stain and smell of cat vomit out of white carpet. It works great and the cats aren’t afraid of the smell of it. I know it costs a little more but it’s forth every penny.
