I ordered the blinds in alabaster based on the photos provided with the item description. I expected the blinds to be cream-colored with a slightly yellow, off-white, or beige tint. Luckily, the box for the blinds had a small sample of the blind attached to the box inside the plastic. The color was more yellow than cream and would not work with my interior colors. The sample piece appeared to be a good thickness and had vertical indentations running its length. I believe the blinds would have been a good purchase if the color had been more off-white or beige. ... show more

This was a tangled twisted mess when the maintenance man opened the box to install the vertical blind. It was lying flat on the floor for 5 mo. Before he could install it. I was very disappointed, and thank God he had one in the garage he gave me and installed. I was most grateful for that.
