The case helps keep them organized with easy to read labeling. There are a couple sizes I would like to have which are not included. Overall its a very nice set.

The thread checker works fine. Although a few checker’s external or internal threads were a bit rough out of the box, this was a minor inconvenience. Threading a bolt or nut in/on the checkers a few times smoothed out the rough spots. I would recommend this tool because the price is not too bad and because of the return policy.

For years I've had to drive to the hardware store not knowing what I'm looking for. With this kit, I know exactly what machine screw, nut or bolt I need! It may not cover every fastener out there, but it includes size and thread info on just about everyone that I'll need. 5-Stars

I really wanted to like this set. The case, foam liner, and labels are all very good. I have good sets on wires, but these are not always handy when having to check something in place on a machine. Having a single piece in hand is much better for this. However, when I tested a about a dozen of the pieces on hardware of known size and thread pitch, the male threads on two of the pieces would not turn in even one full turn. All of the others I tested worked like a charm. I thought about keeping the set and living with it but finally decided to return it and look elsewhere.

This kit is perfect when you are trying to match tread sizes to either order screws online or if you are tapping new threads. All in one nice plastic box. you can individually remove each gauge to test or verify the size where you need them.
