I did end up having to break of the tack side of them. Which wasn’t too hard but it did start to hurt my hand after a while. When I got them I didn’t have a clue they would be that huge I ordered both size 5/8 #16 and 1.2” #30 and the #30 is huge If you have a big headboard or something you want to be extremely noticeable then get the #30 other then that get 16 or the one in between which doesn’t comes in the 100 count it may will work I will update when I’m done with my project before and after pics ... show more

They are simply gorgeous. tPerfect for tufting projects. The only problem I’m having is getting them through wood. I tried with a hammer a rubber mallet and my hands of course. I received these studs very quickly and the are beautiful. I counted them and I received two extra studs. I reupholstered a headboard with the studs and I am very pleased at the outcome for my first time doing this. NONE of the studs were bent or broken.
