    • Socket Head screws measure accurate in length by their thread. Container has some issues.

Saw a lot of reviews (after I had purchased) talking about the screws measuring wrong. I put calipers on the thread portion of them, and they look accurate to within at least 0.5mm on a quick measure. As for the container, the label on the inside is a tad oversized, and is just a piece of paper resting in the container, it's not glued to the lid, or glossed or cardstock or anything. The dividers aren't secured to the bottom of the container, but they are tight enough fitting that with shaking the box, there's still no way for any screws to get around (at max, 1mm gap between the dividers and the lid). As for the rubber seal on the container, it is definitely useless. The front and back sides of the rim that is supposed to press onto it do not even make contact at all, and is about 4mm too far forwards to be making contact. Even if the rim did make contact though, the rim is not tall enough to protrude into the seal with any pressure. The only saving grace is that I didn't care about the container being "air tight", as the ones I ordered are stainless, and they appear to have the slight warm hue that stainless has. ... show more

great little kit for 3d printed parts (and replacement 3d printer screws). most of the stls out there call for screws of these sizes, very pleased. though, the seperator is kinda loose, some hot glue fixes that quickly

I have bought a variety of specialty bolt sets over the years and nearly all come in really cheesy boxes that have flimsy clasps and are prone to mixing of sizes. This one, with three easy to use but secure clasps is the best. Oh, and the hardware is pretty good too.

For projects I often need a bunch of different size screws on hand. I have almost no issued with Glarks screws and find that the heads tend to not "strip out" like some of the "stainless" no-name brands. The allen hole is cut with a bit tighter tolerance than the other screws I use too. I've gotten to the point where I definitely prefer the Glarks over the other variety pack collections I've been able to find so far. ... show more

First, the one positive thing about these and the reason I rated them 2 stars; the container is excellent. With good solid latches on the sides and a long latch across the front, this is a super sturdy contain. Yes, the dividers are removeable, but, unless you're prone to accidents or intending to play catch with the container while it is open, that is not a problem. I wish all screw assortments came in this container. Now, the reason for return and low rating... Screws are meant to be measured by their shaft, not including the head, in fact the pictures for this product at the time of purchase even show it that way; however, these are not, they sizes given are total length. Screws are shown in images and described to be 8/12/16/20mm, which is the correct way to measure screws. Screws in package are 8/12/16/20mm including the head, which is incorrect. The pictures I have included show one of the M3/20 and one of the M5/8 screws. ... show more

I needed the variety of M4 buttonhead screws in this kit to replace rivets on the door of my Volvo that held various door components in place. I was moving the components from a damaged door to its replacement, and I decided to use rivet nuts (or rivnuts) and these screws to re-attach the parts I was moving over. Last week when I went to the local hardware store for some metric machine screws I was shocked that they were selling two screws at $.96 US in individual plastic bags. I couldn't believe that price and I needed 20 screws. Imagine, 20 tiny M3 screws for $20 US after tax. Well, I found this company and seller and purchased this set of over 500 pcs for $5 US less. Needless to say, I am happy and still a little dumbfounded that a hardware store could get away with 1000% markup on something that should cost a fraction of a penny. This product came in a nice organized plastic holder with dividers so the parts would not mix. Also inside was a note from the manufacturer that if the parts did get mixed or if the holder was damaged that they were standing by to replace the whole thing. I like that in a company, its called accountability and anticipating the customer's needs. Though I have more metric screws than I will probably need for the foreseeable future, I would not hesitate to buy from and recommend others to buy from this company and this seller. ... show more
