I bought this for my niece for Christmas but I tried it out to make sure she would enjoy it and for how small the speaker is, it definitely has sound to it. Easily and quickly connects to the mic and I think the size is perfect for a 3 year old. She loves singing so I figured this is a perfect alternative to those large expensive karaoke machines so she will be the true reviewer when she receives it in 2 months but as of now, I would buy again if I knew someone else who wanted one

I bought this karaoke machine for my 9-year old daughter who loves to sing at time of day... and that is where this machine is both a blessing and curse. She really loves this thing and can spend hours singing and playing around after school. The downside is that despite its tiny profile this thing can get loud. Great gift for any friend (or enemy) but all jokes aside this karaoke machine is actually pretty good bang for your buck.
