    • A piece of cloth covers the Velcro you need to hold the belt together. Remove that piece of cloth.

No instructions came with the belt. At first I tried to hold it together with the disc. It kind of worked but then I realized there was a small amount of Velcro covered by a piece of cloth that was at the end of the belt. I don't know why it is so small a patch of Velcro but it does work. With my past experience with Velcro, I think it may not hold up for a very long time as wear and accumulated lint may weaken the Velcro's holding power. I can use the belt now OK. Have to watch it though, it tends to want to move up for me. For now I appreciate the help. ... show more

Ordered this for a good friend who was going to have hernia surgery. They were also going to be going through the belly button - ouch! I can only imagine... This was used post surgery with the pad. He said that this was more comfortable and that he could wear it under his clothes. It provided the compression that he needed and helped when he coughed or sneezed. I really like this binder! The material is very soft, but it really holds things in very well. It's not too wide, not too narrow, it's just right. It is super comfortable and easy to use.
