Update: 2nd day post-delivery. when the bike arrived both tires were flat. I inflated both to 25lbs (the tires are 5 to 30lb rated) and rode it. the next day both tires were flat again. I inflated both, and rode the bike and both tires went flat again. Pulling the tubes from the tires showed 3 pinholes in the front tub and 5 holes in the rear tube. The tires are not obviously marked or damaged and I didn't find anything inside the tires or stuck through the tread to make these holes. It took me 3 hours of careful work to find all the holes and patch them. i own a 450 acre farm with logging roads over a portion. I needed something to get me to various areas and wanted something quiet to do so. I'm 6'2, 240lbs. i purchased this bike because it had a bigger battery and the most powerful motor that I could find in this price range. the box that the bike was shipped in was damaged, but the bike got to me with no obvious damage. this bike goes 18-20mph on flat or downhill with very little effort; it is able to maintain that speed and a 1 mile run off a full battery reports 2% battery usage (100% to 98%) and that is satisfactory. the tires are not very good on mud or loose dirt; in my case I have to dismount and walk the bike over soft patches. on hard packed dirt roads its fine, on asphalt it's fine. anything over a 10% grade gives this bike problems; the motor isn't strong enough to propel the bike up the hill; dismount and walk or pedal. for my size it's not really a good choice for pedaling and I'd prefer pedal straps but there's no obvious way to do that. light pedaling is fine, but if you're standing and going up a hill it's pretty tough. the display on the handlebars is very bright; which means that in dusk or dawn your display makes it hard to see where you are going. you can solve t his with electrical tape, or by turning the display forward, where it is actually bright enough to provide navigation light. this bike plus battery weighs quite a bit, and at slow speeds it can be a challenge to keep upright while trying to pedal. the brakes work. for my use I'd prefer to have some way to put a rack on the back with saddlebags; fishing pole or rifle, handtools for fencing, that sort of stuff. So far so good. I'll update this after a couple of weeks of use. ... show more
