Very strong magnet! And overall just feels well built and bullet proof. It's so easy to set up and I really like that there is a way to adjust the level/distance meter on the screen. My current car backup camera does not have this, so the angle has to be set just right in order for it to work. There are many ways to mount the interior screen which is well made as well. I was looking forward to using this but the screen only connects to the cigarette lighter charger or had to be wired in… because a usb is too much too ask for? Most new cars don’t have cigarette lighters….

I purchased this in January And I’ve used this thing a total of 6 times if that many and then it just stops working. The light for the on switch doesn’t come on anymore nor does the unit turn on at all. I tried different ports and even checked the fuse and it still isn’t working. $150.00 / 6 uses = $25.00 ever time I turned it on and now the support and return window has closed. ... show more

For older RVs (or moving trucks), this is a great way to add a back-up camera to see what is around you and so that you don't hit anything. The wireless camera has very strong magnets and sticks to either a metal frame on a vehicle, or the included metal plate that needs to be bolted down. As long as the camera is located on a solid metal piece, it stays secured. The monitor can be run via 12v plug, or hardwired (both cables are included). When using the plug-in, there is an on/off button to turn the system on and off to save the wireless camera battery. There are also two different antennas for the monitor one with a length of wire and a magnetic base for a strong signal between the units. I did not notice a delay between the camera/monitor, but be sure to take it slow when around objects and stop to verify you are indeed getting a 'live feed'. (if you stop and see motion for a second or two on the monitor, there is a delay, which is an easy test to make sure you are seeing things in real time) The camera is fairly heavy, and works well at night. If you keep the camera on, the battery will drain faster than the solar charging can keep up, so its best to use it only when needing it. You can use USB-C to recharge it, however then you will need to take it off the vehicle (its magnetic so is easy) but then you will need to make sure you position it correctly after putting it back on. Its a great system to add a backup camera to larger vehicles that don't have one.     • Great for hauling my horses!
We use this camera in multiple trailers to view our horses while in transport. It works in daylight and has infrared so we can also see clearly at night what is going on in the trailer as we haul. I love that it’s magnetic and can be put anywhere on my trailers frame and it’s easy to swap between the trailers! The charge lasts plenty long enough for a 6-8 hour haul, we recharge when we do layovers or reach our destination. Customer service, although overseas, has been excellent when I needed a replacement screw for my camera. Great price for this item and it gives us peace of mind when hauling our precision cargo. ... show more
