I’ve purchased the Veken 95oz Pet Fountain multiple times now, which probably says more than anything else I could write in a review. It’s become a go-to in my household because it consistently does what it’s supposed to do—and does it well. First, the water capacity is a big plus. I don’t have to constantly refill it, which is especially helpful with multiple pets. The flowing water really encourages my cats (and even my dog) to drink more, and I’ve noticed a positive difference in their hydration since switching to this fountain. I also appreciate how straightforward it is to set up and clean. Some pet fountains can be a hassle, but this one comes apart easily and doesn’t require a ton of effort to keep it in good condition. The replacement filters are simple to swap out, and they do a good job keeping the water fresh. Noise level is another win—it’s quiet enough that I barely notice it’s running, which is important if you’re placing it in a living space. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that, like most plastic fountains, you do need to stay on top of regular cleaning to prevent buildup. My cat had always been a light drinker and I was constantly worried about her hydration. Since setting up this fountain she visits it far more often throughout the day, which was really the main goal. The continuously circulating water seems to genuinely attract her in a way that a still bowl never did. Assembly was straightforward and took maybe ten minutes. The pump is quiet enough that it blends into background noise without any issue. One thing to know is that the water level indicator starts making a bit more noise as it gets low, which is actually useful since it reminds you to refill before the pump runs on empty. Cleaning is simple enough, the unit breaks down into manageable pieces and nothing is hard to reach. The included filters are a nice touch and replacements are reasonably priced. My only small gripe is the plastic exterior shows water spots fairly easily, so it needs a quick wipe down every few days to look presentable. My vet told me to buy a water fountain for cats as it “attracts” them to drink more water. Welp, guess not for my cats :( two of them were scared to go near it and one of them did use it occasionally. I really wished they liked it but they haven’t drank as much water as they do since I’ve had this for a week, even though I kept their water bowl next to it.
