Why did you pick this product vs others?: I don't do reviews very often, but wanted to do one for this product. We could not be more pleased with the build quality, ease of construction, and appearance. My wingman Paul and I put the whole gazebo together in about 5 hours. The wooden portion of the structure fit perfectly and is very sturdy. We "dry fitted" the roof panels to figure out what the 8mm overlap in the instructions meant and to be comfortable with how it went together. Once this was done we screwed the panels into place. It took us as long to peel off the protective clear plastic on the metal roof parts as it did to put up the wooden part of the gazebo (probably the worst part of the project... oh, and putting the metal/rubber washers on the screws before starting the roof). Overall, very happy with the result and would highly recommend.

This came out great and was exactly what I was looking for in a Gazebo. I did have to make some minor modifications as mines is anchored in concreate vs wood. The Gazebo kit didn't come with concrete screws but that is fine. It was easy to put together but definitely make sure you have a second hand to help. Couldn't be more happier with how this turned out.

You have to peel off protective film from the tin. Be sure to take a marker and label what tin pc you are peeling the film from. The stamp is on the film so if you peel it off you won’t know what pc you have. Very time consuming that wasn’t listed in the instructions. Hard to read the stamp on wooden pcs for installation. Definitely need 2-3 people for this size.

My experienced handyman was able to assemble it in a day. I am very, very happy with it. It was well-packaged, and arrived on time. The wood was dry, the instructions made sense, and we were given a few extra screws and nuts just in case. I live where it rains a lot, and my BBQ is on the smaller side so I had the shelves installed with the shelf extending in instead of out. I have a large dog that is a "pirate", so one shelf is high in hopes that food set on it will remain there. You should also know the metal pieces came protected by a plastic film. There are 2 criticisms. One is that the instructions came with the sugggestion that the nuts on the large bolts be checked and tightened periodically. I will be buying lock nuts to replace them so I do not have to worry about tightening them. Why not charge a little more and include them? The second is that the screws for the metal roof are 1/2" long and there is a white plastic washer that goes between the screw head and the metal. We replaced them with screws for metal roofs that come with a gasket designed for weather. They were too long, but the roof will not blow off. Why not include a longer roof screw? Am I pleased with my purchase? Absolutely!

Very happy with this unit. There are a lot of pieces of course. Just take your time. Assembly directions are good. It looks great and is a good size to cover our grill. There are three recommndations 1) the manufacturer should provide longer sheet metal screws. I replaced the ones provided because they don't grip enough. 2) you do need to tighten joint bolts after 6 months. They will loosen. 3) The sheet metal is packed with protective plastic. Remove the plastic on each sheet right before you place it. Because, anywhere there is a scratch in the paint, it will rust. All in all, we think it's a great value.

Definitely not worth the money. It is not all cedar, Look at the description, it says frame is cedar. The rest is pine I'm sure. A lot of the boards and rafters were warped and the rafters were split on the ends where the cross members went for the roof. The metal roof holes didn't all line up so you have to improvise. Overall it is very cheap and poor quality.

This was a great buy and is now put up. We did however change up the way we anchored it to the concrete. We used concrete hammer nails to secure it and it is sold as a rock. We added a shade wall to the front of it and we love it. Wish my computer would let me post a picture.
