"I'm here to review the Veikk A15 Pen tablet! I'll start off with the basic components on how my experience with this company and tablet went off all on its own! Price - For this tablets pricing and quality, honestly its rather cheap. Its perfect for those who aren't able to afford the more expensive products but are looking for a place that has quality enough to get started! I would reccomend this to beginners in the art field as this tablet is very sleek and easy to use! Customer Service - Their was absolutely no problems with customer service at all! The person in particular Veikk Grace was very friendly and kind! They had helped me with any and all questions I had given them. Not only that but for each question I had they answered in detailed format to get me started on the right path! When it comes to Veikk I have never had any problems with their customer service! Tablet Set Up- Overall it took maybe less than 30 minutes to set up and was very easy to get the hang of! As long as you delete any old tablet drivers you have and follow the instructions given to you its rather easy and simple! Plus the layout of the Veikk site itself is well put together and helps you find exactly where you need to go Tablet Properties- When you open the veikk box it contains a number of things inside and I will be going through each and every one of them! First thing I will mention is the pen itself! Its blackish grey with a grip to it, with the grip on the pen it makes it have a much more better feel to it. Especially if you plan to use the pen for multiple hours on end. Its very light weight so I couldn't imagine hand cramps using this pen! With the pen comes multiple replacement nibs, with the amount given, I gurantee buying replacement nibs will not need to happen anytime soon! It comes in a small plastic bag and inside is a nib removal device as well! Another thing inside the box is a glove, this glove is very well made and the texture is soft and loose enough to be comfortable! Although I dont quite know what the use for the glove is, I can say you wont have to worry about fitting the glove. As I had my partner and I both try out this glove and the difference in size betwen our hands is quite big. His being much larger than mine, we both fit the glove without any hassle! Moving onto the Tablet, the tablet itself is light weight and could be well used for travel! Its very sleek and the surface is smooth enough that drawing comes naturally! Its appearance itself is also very pleasing to look into, as it comes with hot keys and a dial to turn. There are two lights on the tablet that indicate if the pen is in reach or if the keys are pressed! I'd say personally this tablet is really good for any beginners wanting to get into the art field. This tablet isn’t just what you pay for, it’s high quality and care in how this product is made, and what it comes with. You get much more than the tablet, cord, and pen. This tablet includes a pen stand+nib remover with 8 extra nibs, a bag with a spare nib remover and plenty more nibs, a felt pen pocket, and a tablet glove. For roughly 70 bucks with shipping and taxes, this is a really good deal! Before getting this tablet, I used another tablet which only came with the basics, and for 30 dollars more than this one. That old tablet fits entirely within just the workspace alone of this tablet, which has a huge work space. This is a major improvement for a frequent drawer like myself, as this allows me to use my whole arm rather than just my wrist, and it helps to prevent cramps. The placement of the hot keys on this tablet is also much more convenient, and allows me to have a quicker workflow by having one hand on the keys, and the other hand drawing. I also appreciate the scroll wheel, it’s handy if I want to be really lazy in browsing pages, or quickly change brush sizes due to its multifunctionality. The cord for the tablet itself can be oriented in two ways, allowing for easy left and right handed use. As for the software, it’s intuitive! The hotkeys are customizable, you can change the pressure settings and the function of your pen easily, you can choose between a left or right hand mode, and you can also choose which screen your tablet functions on, and how much of the physical tablet’s work space you want to use. The fact I can choose my workspace was very helpful in me adjusting to the size of the tablet. The drivers respond fast, but I do experience a tiny bit of input lag at the start of a line. I draw fast, so most lines come a few pixels later than where I put my pen down, and at a forced taper. However this is small and can be easily corrected with some extra filling at the start of the line, so it does not bother me too much. I am an artist who holds myself to a very clean and smooth line standard, and this tablet’s software can definitely give me the results I desire, albeit with a few extra steps here and there. I am sure Veikk will correct this issue with time as well with a future drive update as well. Overall, if you want the most bang for your buck, want to avoid large overpriced companies, or if you’re a starting artist looking for a simple slate that will last, I can highly recommend this tablet. As a slate user of 6 years, this is likely the best one I have purchased yet. On a scale of 1-10, I personally rate it a 9.5, with the deduction being from my previously mentioned issue with the software. Many starting artists would not notice this at all, nor would people who lay their lines slower than I do, this is just a personal tic. Objectively, for the price it sells at, what it comes with, and how easily it works, I give it a solid 10. This is a great tool for beginner artists on a budget and experienced artists alike. TLDR; Comes with plenty of bonus items, fast, and smooth in design and performance. I would recommend this to starting digital artists and casual artists looking for a reliable tablet for hobby and commission work. It’s a glowing example of good tablets for equally good prices, and would especially be a great gift for teens who express interest in trying digital art. First of all I must say that the product arrived in two days, thank you very much, it was very fast. I do not have a great experience in the use of tablets of other brands in addition to the best known, so when I had the opportunity to try this option, the first thing that surprised me is that, in terms of value for money, it has nothing What to envy other brands When opening the box contains everything you need (spare parts, a drawing glove, usb cable, etc.), the dimensions of the tablet are good, personally I have never used the button shortcuts and it is not heavy, besides this Tablet has many buttons that will facilitate the work. The surface feels smooth (but not as much as other brands), but I don't think this is a major inconvenience. One flaw is that the tablet did not detect the pressure in softwares such as sai or sai2 which are the ones I use regularly, in softwares such as clip studio it worked without any problem, I hope that in some update of the controller I can work on these softwares. (I clarify that this only happened on my laptop with windows 7, on other computers with windows 10 that I tried it worked perfectly and without any problem). When working with the tablet does not feel a big difference with tablets of other brands. In conclusion, this is a great tablet for those who want to start in the world of digital drawing, it feels the same when I work in a huion or wacom, so this is a good option to start. ... show more

They say love comes to you when you least expect it. That’s how I felt when I used the Veikk A15 Pro tablet. I initially got the tablet because I was extremely curious about the dial. Having used my fair share of professional tablets (including many from the Wacom lineup), I haven’t used any with a dial but thinking about the uses but it seemed like it would be incredibly useful for brush adjusting/rotations. For context, I’ve been a digital art hobbyist for 10+ years. My daily driver is a Cintiq 13HD & I use an IPad Pro 12.9 as well for simpler work. Clearly, I am a huge fan of screen tablets but this was the first traditional tablet that made me almost want to switch back to a traditional tablet! Here are my thoughts: Pros: Setup was easy and effortless. I downloaded the driver from their website. They don’t include a CD in the package, which is fine with me as I don’t have a CD-ROM drive anymore anyway. NOTE: You have to uninstall any drivers from other brands (Wacom, XP-PEN, etc) After installation, the driver automatically detected the tablet and I was able to draw in Clip Studio Paint right away without a hitch. On their interface, they labeled the shortcut keys and I had no issues with assigning shortcuts. For the control wheel/dial, you can assign more than 1 feature to it, which blew my mind! I initially thought I would have to settle between brush size or canvas rotation but the center button of the dial controls switching (and can be customized to something else as well). At first I was struggling to figure out how to switch the dial controls, but after a quick googling, it was the center button. (The driver also says so if you check the settings, I literally was just too excited to read them all, oops.) The product comes with SO many replacement nibs, a nib remover, and a felt sleeve as well as a pen holder. I love that in this model they included both the felt sleeve as well as the pen holder because the sleeve would be nice for traveling but I wouldn’t not use it if I was just keeping the tablet at my desk and would much prefer a pen holder in that case. (Also the pen holder stores nibs underneath just like the Wacom Pen holders do, except Wacom gives you like 4 nibs and bids you good luck while Veikk supplies you with a full ring under their holder + a baggy of extras. I’ll have enough nibs until I die--). They also give you a glove which is a nice touch! Most tablets do not come with one at this price point. The pen is light but sturdy and comfortable to the touch. Similar to Wacom pens, it does not require charging, which is great! The design and sleek and minimal which I enjoy and comes with 12 customizable hotkeys which is more than enough for me. The pen also has 2 customizable buttons which are nifty (I usually disable mine or set it to eye dropper in fear of triggering accidentally). The build is solid and doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap, it feels like a quality piece of equipment. I’ve used the Wacom Intuos Pro Medium (which would be the Wacom equivalent in size) and this tablet is thinner, for me that’s a pro, but to each their own. Overall, I love the hotkeys + I’m a little obsessed with the dial. I did hotkey brush size settings to my Cintiq shortcuts but spamming on them to change brush sizes more than once always worried me and it’s much easier to adjust using the wheel! Cons: If you draw directly at a 90 degree angle on the tablet, it has a chance of making the godforsaken squeaking noise. I would assume it’s simply because the nib is new and the tablet is new and the noise would disappear with normal wear. This had me worried at first because I can’t deal with the plastic-on-plastic noise. Thankfully, if you hold the pen at a slight tilt (as you would a pencil) there is no squeak whatsoever, so this is not a big problem for me but just wanted to mention. Wishlist: Bluetooth usage. Not a huge issue for me as bluetooth can be unreliable sometimes and I don’t mind having my tablet plugged in but I’ve noticed that some more expensive tablets have this feature and I’m looking forward to seeing if Veikk would bring in this feature in the future. TLDR; This tablet is such a steal! I really enjoyed using it and this will definitely be the tablet I take on the go when I don’t want to restrict myself to the programs on an iPad and I want something portable. I would recommend it to beginners or even experienced artists looking to try something new but don’t want to break the bank. After using it, it left very little to be desired, I can’t imagine myself forking out an additional $200-300 for a Wacom. If you are looking for a non-screen tablet, I don’t see any reason to pass this one up! BONUS: The control wheel makes the most ASMR clicking sound when you spin it. I’m in love. ... show more

Love it, better than I expected for the price!

So this is my first tablet, and I imagine I'll buy another sometime down the road. But I wanted to get into digital drawing and this thing is more than I expected. It surface is made so not only does feels like you're drawing on paper, but you get the same level of quality through the pressure sensitivity. I've had no problems with the USB turning off (which was one of my concerns reading the comments, and I'm on one of the common trouble laptops, an Alienware R15) I had some setup issues with gimp, but all of them were gimp related. Works great in FireAlpaca, Krita, Photoshop, and Premier. The included setup program has a LOT of options for fine tuning your experience, which I love! You can even set the active area, so if you have a lazy hand that likes to rest on the side while you draw, you can clip the pads drawing area. The pad is weighted just right, and doesn't flex. The pen to me feels a bit like a sharpie marker in girth, and about the same weight. The feel took a little getting used to when penciling, but felt exceptionally natural when coloring. My brain quickly adapted after an hour or so. I'm not sure what the dials intention was, but nearly every app I've used, it's not really set up correctly for zoom in/out. But the dials can be customized to a keyboard shortcut, so not a big deal. And you can setup shortcuts on a per app basis, which is REALLY nice if you use a plethora of them like I do! Literally my only complaint is a few little things I think they could add to the software, like allowing custom labels for dial and button shortcuts, so they don't just show the key combos on screen, but things we define like "Zoom in/out" or "PenSize+/-" etc. As my first tablet, I really do love this thing, and will likely start with VEIKK when looking to upgrade. ... show more

Download the appropriate driver for your model (in this case, A15 Pro) and computer (in my case, a Mac). Once that is installed, you can just use the cord it comes with tp plug it right into your computer and get drawing! Review: This is a great option for a starter tablet! It’s cheaper than the competitors and has just as many functions with its hot keys, spin wheel, and pen buttons. The hot keys help you draw or shift between things really easily. It is extremely lightweight and portable. The cord is even longer than I expected too if you prefer drawing in a super comfy position! It really is on par with a beginning Wacom Bamboo. And for the price, you really can’t beat it! Waaaaay cheaper than other tablets, but doesn’t skimp on quality or functionality! I thought for sure I’d have trouble because I’m used to a screened tablet and I use a Mac, which isn’t always super tablet-friendly, but it worked great with my Mac, was actually not that hard to get used to, and it isn’t as daunting to use as some other tablets might be! Plus I think the color around the spin wheel is a nice touch visually and doesn’t look as boring as other entirely black tablets! Great tablet great price

In reviewing the Veikk 15 pro red tablet I must say I am insanely impressed. From the moment the tablet arrived -thank you Amazon 2day shipping!- it was amazing from the start. as soon as you open the box you notice the tablets size and thinness. it's so light that it fits comfortably in your lab unlike the bulk of other tablets. This tablet also comes with an impressive amount of nibs which is a comfort to anyone who goes through them at record pace. Not only is the pen holder completely stocked with nibs but they send you an extra bag full and a nib remover as well. My manicure thanks you! I was also impressed that they thought of a glove for your drawing hand to prevent the oils from your hand from transferring onto the drawing surface which was total love. I had to turn mine inside out because I'm left handed but it still worked great!!! Installation wasn't bad and their Twitter support team was an amazing help walking me through it and answering any questions I had well within 24hrs. I have never had such a great help response even from more expensive products. These little thought of things ontop of the value already set this tablet above others. When I actually sat down and started working at first with some simple family photo touch ups for the scrap book I'm working on the tablets responsiveness was out of this world plus the well placed quick keys made work that would take me a few hours on my wacom bamboo done within an hour. The touch sensitivity and responsiveness was amazing. Even being left handed and having to rotated my tablet at an angle the quick keys on the side were still easy to use and were not in the way like I had feared when I started. It was nice having all the tools I needed right on my tablet instead of having to bounce between my tablet and my keyboard like usual. This was an amazing addition to a tablet that just cut down frustrations so much for me. If the price is making you gun shy about trying this tablet don't be. whether your just beginning your digital art adventure or looking for a backup tablet while yours is in for repairs I'd truly recommend this tablet to anyone. this was going to be my travel tablet but now after spending the last three days playing with this. I can honestly say this will be my go to tablet from now on. From the battery free pen, to the light weight feel, the epic response time and the knowledgeable helpful representatives. Not easy.

I have never used a drawing tablet before. As a casual graphic design enthusiast, I use desktop Photoshop and other drawing apps on my phone and the UI has been easy with those. I don't have an easy time getting used to this tablet. I bought this for my daughter and she seems to like it but has only used it once. I like that you can program the buttons to launch specific drawing programs I will update my review in a couple of months if it gets any easier. ... show more
