    • Seem to work well
We have well water and periodically get manganese which turns the water black for a short time. While not harmful it is not pleasant. We’ve been using a whole house filter with five micron string filters and they work very well. The problem is sometimes they aren’t available and they can be a bit pricey. Those filters are five microns and these are twenty but the price was better so I gave them a try. I have to say initially I didn’t see a difference. Later however I checked inside a toilet tank and there’s a black residue inside. This is one of those things where it may be the filter or maybe it would have happened with the old filters I honestly don’t know. I suppose it will take some time to determine how well these work. ... show more

    • Solid filters at a GREAT price, work in our filter perfectly
So we pay $11 locally for 2 25m filters, do the math. These are the same thing, fit fine, and seem to perform as well for a fraction of the price
