I wanted K9 Ballistics but didn’t want to fork out the money for it so this was the next best thing. It has the slightest bend in the fabric in the middle of the bed after a month or two of use, but I wouldn’t say it’s sagging. I have an 82lb dog and I went up to the XL to give him more room. He loves to de-fluff regular beds, but is not a persistent chewer to regular household stuff, so this has been perfect and he has not tried to chew on it. It’s light to carry to different rooms. It will slide on hard surfaces, but nothing some rubber stickies can’t fix if that bothers you. It was mildly annoying to set up by myself because you have to line things up just so. I imagine it would be way easier with two people but I managed. Overall it has solved my problem and has been holding up well so 10/10 ... show more

It’s so hard to buy anything online for a Dane. Even when you can see the specs, it’s hard to imagine how it will work for such a huge dog. I have to say, this thing is awesome. It’s plenty large enough (see pic). Moose really loves it, and I love that it takes pressure off his joints. I also love how well constructed and thought out it is. There is a metal frame all the way around it, which is a nice touch, that not only helps with strength and stability, but also prevents the canvas from being chewed on. It has rubber at the bottom of the legs to keep it from sliding, which is awesome for tile or hardwood floors. We cannot keep a rug or carpet in Moose’s kennel because he will tear it up. Hence why we need the bed so he has something after to lay on than the hard floor. I can’t say enough good things about this. It’s a great size and great construction. If you need a bed for your Dane or another large breed, get this! I will update the review with use of how well it holds up to my 160 lb dog. ... show more

This is our 4th dog bed purchase for our German Shepherd puppy. We received this bed February 2024. It is now May 2024 and it still is in excellent shape! She has tried to eat it, tried to dig in it, moved it around and it is holding up with no sign of destruction! All of the previous types of beds were destroyed within hours/days. She loves the bed! She is perplexed when her toy falls off and lands under the material…gives her something to think about and problem solve! We got this bed because it was lifted from the floor and we planned to use it as a summer outdoor bed. We have a 150lb,10 yr old, arthritic English Mastiff. He tends to flatten any bed he gets over time except for his Big Barker. But we didn't want to spend another 300 on a second one of those plus he doesnt like lying on it outside during the summer. We thought a lifted bed would be the solution. So Santa brought Zeus one of these for Christmas. Installation was a breeze. It looks nice in your home and I love the dog paws on the bed legs. Initially Zesus seemed to avoid it, he had some difficulty getting on and off. A bit of a learning curve for him that he's now adjusted to. But once we added a cushion (an old dog bed) and a blanket he now seems to enjoy it very much. Hopefully in the summer he will enjoy it even more because it will offer him a breeze and keep him off the ground! ... show more

Purchased this bed because my Great Pyr/Dane mix loved destroying beds. This is as close as you can get to indestructible. The aluminum siding covers the sides of the mesh bed so they can’t chew/scratch. It’s been 6 months so far, meaning this bed has lasted 5 months longer than any other. With some finagling, I managed to get it into the crate. Be sure to clean under the bed regularly, as hair/skin flakes end up absolutely covering the floor underneath. ... show more

Overall, these beds are very nice. The frames are indeed, all aluminum, *even the corners. They seem durable. They are a bit difficult to put together with one person and required the strength of my husband to stretch to get last corner together. * Please note that the feet are definitely, (NOT) slip resistant). They are hard plastic. One might be able to put something on the feet to make them more resistant to slipping. We just got the beds, so cannot speak to the durability of the fabric, though it seems strong. The beds look just as pictured. ... show more
