Not vehicle specific. Hardest part is determining where to place under the hood. Light comes bent to fit small box. I put it next to heater vent in house with a weight on it for 24 hours to flatten. The auto switch was functional, but I did not wish to drill a hole in metal. My jeep has aux switches already wired to dash panel so it was an easy connection. I hope double side tape holds. Appears aggressive. I had to stick to underhood insulating panel. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised. once you make the correct placement of the switch it is reliable. it is very important ensure the switch is placed and tested first before a final install

    • Not as easy as they say
This is a good product, but it is a nightmare to install. Not hard to install, just very tedious. In order to install the lights, you have to basically cut off the fuse, route the wires, than re-install the fuse to the black wire. The challenge is to hide as much of the wire as possible, which means you have to route the wires in the skeleton under the hood. All in all, it took about 2 hours. except it has a really short life span. not even a couple of months and it was dead. and i had it tapped on acc, then tapped it directly to the battery, still dead. fuse is still good, still dead.
