I researched e-bikes under $1,000. I’ve read hundreds of reviews, watched YouTube videos. I wanted a bike that felt like my mountain bike. I chose the Veefa X2 based on the reviews, the specs, and the 27.5” wheels. We bought two step throughs. They arrived in one week, completely well packed and intact. Assembly was easy for someone with average mechanical skills. All that said, we love these bikes. Fits me just right, with proper leg extension. Feels comfortable. You can ride with no power assist, or get the “right” combination of mechanical gearing and pedal assist. We’ve been riding daily for a week now and the bikes seem sturdy and well made. We highly recommend!

This is a great bike with a great price point. Shipped quick and assembly was a breeze. Although the cold weather has prevented us from being able to take it out for a longer ride, my wife absolutely loves the pedal assist and the option to go full electric for those pesky hills. Additionally, the company reached out to me to ensure we were happy with our purchase, which says a lot about their customer service. Will update this review once we’re able to get it out for a real ride.

I purchased two of these V2 bicycles and have completed many 10–15-mile rides. The bikes are solid and very enjoyable for these short trips. On June 1st we participated in a 37-mile organized ride with two riders on road bicycles and two on the V2 electric bikes and discovered two areas of concern. The batteries were depleted by the end of the ride, barely meeting the advertised "30-80+ miles (when riding with 5-1 pedal assist) on a single charge without having to worry about running out of power. Even in pure electric mode, it can support 30+ miles of riding." The two riders primarily used the 5-1 pedal assist mode rarely using the manual override. Each of the bikes had mechanical and GPS speedometers. Both V2 bike displays consistently overstated the speed by 10% or more as compared to multiple independent speedometers. The advertised maximum speed of "20-24 mph" is also generous. Both V2s display 20 mph maximum, nothing more, independent sensors show 18 mph. During one portion of the ride the two road bicyclists topped 20 mph (wind assisted) and the V2 bikes fell significantly behind. Bottom line: The bikes are solid, dependable and fun to ride. Beware the advertised capabilities are overstated and somewhat misleading. As time goes on, I anticipate the performance will drop and riding range will decline, limiting how far we can ride and return home.

Bought the 27.5” step over version of this e-bike. It arrived on time with all pieces intact and ready to assemble. Assembly took about 30min and was fairly straightforward. My hubby and I are both 6’0+ and generous sized and this bike is perfectly sized for us! I didn’t even have to raise the seat! We’ve been riding the bike a few miles each day using pedal assist 1-2 and using throttle to go up large hills only and the first battery charge lasted about 1 week/30.5 miles. Absolutely love this bike and am soooo happy with my purchase! Would definately recommend and would buy again!

We got this bike a week ago and find it to be great on battery and provide a fun amount of power. The rated speed seems correct, at least with a 110 lbs rider. The frame appears to be very robust and it's the kind of bike that can take a pothole without flinching. The LED screen can be seen in full sunlight. We will see how it holds up to some long weekend bike rides this summer. The only negative I can mention would be the power delivery seems to be more like an on off switch instead of smooth.

I bought 2 e-bikes. One for myself and one for my husband. It took about 20-30 mins to put together 1 bike, which isn’t bad. We were very excited to ride these and test them out. Unfortunately, my husband’s bike didn’t work. I called Veefa the next day and left a message regarding the issue, doubtful I would get a call back. However, they did call back a few hours later. The guy on the phone, Daniel, was really nice and understanding of my frustration. He offered several things I could try to do to get the motor working. He even sent me a YouTube video via text to support troubleshooting the issue. To my disappointment, nothing we tried worked. Daniel then offered to do an exchange through Amazon. We had to disassemble and repackage the bike and take it to FedEx. The bike is 50lbs, so that was a bit of a hassle, but we got it done. Veefa did provide us with a return shipping label so we didn’t have to pay for the return shipping. The refund for the bike came quickly after they received it. I’m still waiting for the shipping refund for the original bike. Veefa says it’s on its way still. Sadly, we just got a bad bike. Things happen. In my experience, Veefa has excellent, accessible, and communicative customer service, which I appreciated. Nothing automated or in another country. The replacement bike they sent us works perfectly. We put child seat attachments on the back of our bikes and our toddlers love to go on bike rides on the bike path with us. The bikes last for hours and hours on 1 charge. They’re easy to operate and maneuver. We’re very happy with them! I would buy another bike in the future from Veefa.
