I've owned a large Vision S-Series kamado for over 12 years. Same size as the large Green Egg, but it has better overall construction, features, and price. It sits on my back porch year 'round because for me it's always grilling/smoking weather! I live in Central MN, so my outdoor cooking equipment sees an annual temperature range from -20F to 95F, which is hard on materials. My original cover is starting to show wear and tear, and has done a decent job over the years but it was time for a replacement. I have two folding side shelves, and it easily went over everything with perfect coverage. Once I adjust the straps, it'll stay in place in any windy conditions. The straps have clips, so I can easily attach the ends, even with winter gloves on, instead of having to press the long Velcro seam together on the original. There's a well made handle at the top so I can quickly pull it off, and vents on each side so it won't build up condensation during hot, humid summer months here. The cover's red stripes are cool looking and although I will never use the storage bag, it is made of the same material, so I plan to use it for other things instead of throwing it away. Update: I was so impressed with this cover that I ordered a second one with gray stripes for use on the Large Big Green Egg at my North Carolina vacation home. I left it in the storage bag, which fit nicely into my baggage for traveling there.

The photos that come with this product say it will fit both a Kamodo Joe or a 18" BGE, and the picture clearly shows that it will fit a grill 30" wide. I have a slightly different brand, but still, my grill is only 28" wide in the dimension shown in the picture, so I thought it would work. But as this isn't my first bbq cover rodeo, I also expected it *not* to work as the dimensions shown never show the front-to-back width, which includes the big bulky hinge (that KJs and BGEs have too), nor the handle that sticks out the front . You'd assume a cover would take into account those bulky bits at the back and front, but they usually don't and this one is no exception. So long story short, the cover fits, but very tightly and with difficulty to put on. Sure enough, its not wide enough for the hinge or handle. Perhaps BGEs or KJs are narrower front to back; I don't know. When its on, it won't pull all the way down so the bulge on top intended to cover the vent doesn't quite fit on my BBQ. Disappointing - it said it would fit a 30" wide grill, and it doesn't really. Other than that its nice - solid construction, comes with clasps so the wind won't pull it up, and comes with a nice storage bag. Just measure twice and don't expect it to fit unless your back to front dimension is < 30".
