The only minor thing I didn’t care for were the little black stickers used to hide the screwheads — they work fine, but a few came loose after a few weeks. I was a bit intimidated at first when I saw the packets of screws, etc. I started with the chairs and the first one was a little confusing, mostly because Im not that handy but get by. Once I finished the first one the second one took maybe ten minutes tops. Its helps to read the directions thoroughly, which I didnt. So it took a little undoing what I did and when ai was done it was so clear and simple. I have not yet put the table together but if I follow the directions it seems to look quite simple. So far happy with the purchase. Tons of styrofoam so be prepared for that, its very well packed. One scratch on the chair top but there was no way I was going to tear it apart and send it back. It’s noticeable but I can cover it with something I’m sure. I would buy again, seems sturdy. I’m not real fond of the gray top, but its what I chose. I can’t even say why I decided on gray. I really like this table. It looks great, doesn’t take up too much space, and the storage feature is super convenient. The table was also very easy to put together with clear and helpful instructions. The only reason I took off 1 star was the chairs. Perhaps it was just my set, but they did not assemble well at all, no matter what tools I used. I ended up keeping my original bar stools, which ironically worked perfectly size-wise with the table. Overall, a great price for what seems to be a very good quality table that looks the part without being overpriced. Really freed up my kitchen space which is what I wanted. But, in my case at least, the chairs were hard to assemble and didn’t fit together properly. ... show more

It wasn’t heavy to bring in the house and I was able to put to put it together mostly by myself. The shelf on the side was a little tricky and my son had to flip them for me.
