This is my second purchase. I said a bed for this cheap isnt going to be worth it. Definitely, a surprise! Myself and my 15 year old daughter put together in hour. Easy if you begin with a clear rested mind. My advice just take your time, arrange all same size bed metal together according to letters, dont get frustrated (all pieces are in box) and most importantly don't tighten bolts completely until the end. this took my husband and I about 30 minutes to assemble, start to finish. Sturdy enough for my 8 year old and I to sit on while I brush her hair, no fear of it falling apart. Very cute too. We will likely buy another for her baby sister in the near future.

So, the packaging for the screws, nuts, washers etc is annoying. It was also cracked and the washers were floating around the box, but thankfully all there. Had to use scissors to open the rest. Biggest annoyance: the larger nut components were impossible (for me) to tighten until the frame was in place and I could use it as leverage. Some of the poles weren't labeled, but it was easy enough to figure out from the instructions. I'm 6 months pregnant and managed to put this together by myself. It's sturdy and will work well for an 8 year old. Arrived in great condition despite the box having been through a lot. Happy with my purchase. ... show more

I was so happy to get this and see it looked better than what the picture show s. I chose a creamy white color which was perfect for my guest room. The directions (with pictures) were easy to follow and I had no problem with the tools sent with it. I am a 70 year old grandmother and I had no problem putting it together by myself. There are no squeaks either. The only downside is that the metal is so smooth that the mattress slips around very easily, even though the mattress is quite heavy. I fixed this by putting a quilt between the bed and the mattress but if I had some felt tape, I would have used that. Anything to increase the friction would help. ... show more
