I previously had purchased a mobile for my nursery and didn’t realize that the music was a wind up. It sounded awful and stoped playing within a minute. This one is amazing!!!!! This is a very pleasant musical mobile box. Dion’s song, of course, is soothing and beautiful. Love the edelweiss song! I like that it automatically turns off after a while. One improvement would be to send instructions in the box on the use of the function buttons. I had to return to the site, where it’s sold, to read about how each function button works. Overall, the music box has good sound…and baby seems to like it. Thank you ... show more

I’m not quite sure how u feel about this. It has lulled my baby so sleep several times but I also think it’s disrupted him and made it harder at times to get him to sleep. 1. The songs are human voices. I did not expect that. I would prefer instrumental music only. 2. Some of the music is too upbeat (Mary had a little lamp with lambs making sounds) causing distraction. If it started with the upbeat song in the beginning everytime and slowly winded down that would make more sense but that’s not how it works. It starts wherever it left off last time so my baby will start to wind down to lullabies then all the sudden the next song is upbeat that you can almost dance to. Yes, you can skip songs but who is standing there next to the crib the whole time to do that? The whole point (at least for me) is to press play and walk away hoping it lulls them to sleep on their own…which it does so I can’t complain too much. 3. It’s LOUD! If I didn’t have a white noise machine in the background it would be way too loud. On the other hand, if it was quieter then you wouldn’t be able to hear it behind my white noise machine. So luckily the combo of a loud white noise machine and this works but if you don’t use white noise and only use this I think it would be way too loud and distracting for baby to fall asleep to. Also some songs instruments are louder than others sometimes causing baby to “jump” when almost asleep. This can be frustrating. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good little music box I wouldn’t say it’s the best or worst music quality but it’s good enough to put my baby to sleep and I like that the volume is adjustable. He’s obsessed with the Edelweiss song so my husband and I were pleasantly surprised that song was in the playlist. Not sure if all the boxes are the same but the one we got has people singing the songs, the other songs it plays are Baby Mine Brahms Lullaby Hush, Little Baby Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Mary had a Little Lamb Rock a Bye Baby and a random instrumental song. I don’t mind the singing and neither does my little guy apparently. Overall I’d say it was a good purchase. ... show more

So I got the mobile music box today. It is pretty large but looks well-made. It works well BUT most music boxes for mobiles are just acoustics. This one has singing with the words to the songs! Like how is my baby supposed to be soothed to sleep when it sounds like there's a Shirley Temple movie playing in his crib? A male sings, "Mary Had A Little Lamb" while animals are squeeling in the background! This is dreadful. I do not recommend. I'm returning it and will make sure that I find one with acoustics only. ... show more
