It's sturdy enough and isn't super loud. The balls on the corners are not as sturdy as the bed itself and if u have kids to spin them (like my 4yo) they will break to where they can't be put back on (I hotglued them). The bed itself is like but there is one annoying flaw: slats do not connect. You just sit them there so if kids climb under the bed they will fall out. I'd use at least an 8in mattress as my 50lb toddler thought it was uncomfortable and could feel the slats with the 6in. Overall a good bed for the price. ... show more

I never put things together. I’m not sure what brain cell I’m missing but I always struggle putting things together. I had a spat with my hubby so I was determined to put this thing together all by myself, with a curious toddler “helping”. Bars bend easily. Used in a little girls room and its kind of disappointing. It's cute, but the decorative knobs on the tops have all come off, and some of the bars under the bed are bent. Cheaply made.

My 9 year old daughter is so excited about her new daybed. We took apart her old bunk bed, and the extra twin mattress fits perfectly underneath the new bed, like a trundle. It wasn’t super difficult to put together either. 5 stars!
