Like someone else said in their review, it is important not to tighten the bolts until the frame is almost assembled. Another buyer commented that because the slats were 3" and not 2" they thought the warranty on their new mattress wouldn't be good. Like this buyer, and because of their comment, I almost didn't purchase the frame. However, after checking with my mattress mnfgr, I learned they require a minimum of 2" support slats, so don't let that deter you from purchasing this frame. There are only 3 cons to this frame and that is why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. The first, in my opinion, you need 2 people to assemble the headboard and then one person can do it easily. Because I didn't have an extra set of hands, I placed the headboard on a dinning room chair to hold it in place while I attached the 2 support pieces. The second con is the instructions are NOT very clear, i.e., they don't show or tell which side of the screws (installed at the factory) are placed outward. The third and final con is that most of my parts were mislabeled. By example, my number 9a was labeled 6a. The pros.... once assembled, the frame is very sturdy and is also attractive. I also noticed that someone else who purchased this commented that they were missing bolts to put it together. Clearly the maker listened because they now include a complete set of extra bolts in the package. So if you have common sense and can see how things go together if your frame is mislabeled, then by all means, do not hesitate to buy this frame... you will not be unhappy with your purchase.

very sturdy except the middle poles hit on the floor when you move. If you don't have a rug beneath them, they will knock on the floor and alert everyone when you move around. we put a rug and the bed doesn't sway or rock, it doesn't squeak or bump due to lame joint connections. I love the sturdy fabric the headboard is made of and the fact that you can move it so high. it's not a thick cushiony head board but no matter.

Easy to set up, Sturdy and looks great. It is in my guest room so I have not used the bed yet so cannot review if it is comfortable or long lasting but will update if my review changes. I'm happy with it so far. The cloth is very nice looking.

I am so amazed how easy and friendly the assembly steps. It's definitely a one person job with almost no sweat. Even most of the screws are already installed and the only thing you have to do is loosen it up and hook the bracket and tighten it. This is the best and the easy bed I ever assembled. Also the price is so affordable without compromising the quality of material.

I was a little concerned about possible shipping issues after reading other reviews but I got my frame earlier than expected - appx 3 days after I ordered it. The bed looks great and appears sturdy so far. Everything was packaged well so no snags or scratches or bent pieces. Some advice for assembly: The directions are all pictures, there are no written directions so you really have to pay attention to the direction of screws and the locations holes on the diagrams. The other key to successful assembly is to keep your screws loose once you get them in. Everything fits snug so youโll need a little wiggle room when fitting pieces together. It took me appx 60 minutes to put this together myself. Iโm really happy with this frame!

This bed is very impressive for the price. The fabric was a bit different than I thought it would be ( I thought it would be a little smoother and less starchy) but it's not a deal breaker. It's still a beautiful headboard and frame. As for supports- they look pretty cheap but after about 3 weeks no problems just a little squeek now. I'm 5'4 and 180 and I'm a SUPER restless sleeper (I mean, my entire bed gets unmaid including the topper and the mattress still hasn't moved from its spot so after reading the reviews it must be an individual thing. As far as the mattress to frame height goes, it's about two inches too high with a 12 inch mattress and those inches feel like 4 when you're on it or climbing up or if you're nervous you'll fall off it. I cannot put my feet flat on the ground. It's more like toes so if you're short and hoping to sit on the end to put your shoes on, you might want to move on. The biggest turn off for me is the smell of the headboard. It has a strong gluey or chemical smell that won't go away. Kind of like an old latex memory foam pillow. I ended up covering it up with a towel which defeats the purpose of a nice looking bed and if the pillows touch it the smell transfers to those as well! So for me, with asthma, allergies and a sensitive sense of smell it's wayyy too much for me, which is why I'm returning it. It's a bummer because like I said, I really like the look of it. The color is just SLIGHTLY darker than the photo but very close to it so if you like what you see, are tall and not smell sensitive then I'd say go for it! But if you are, I'd consider another selection.
