The height was great below for a 13year old. And a 5 year old on top. He was happy it was sturdier than what he thought it would be. I feel like the pay was worth it. Kids are sleeping fine. Only complain I have was the instruction manual was annoying and hard to follow. They said have this side up for “f” but never really said with size was up. So by the time I set it up…. The holes that should have been to add the stairs where on the inside than outside. I was too tired form 3 hours of work to undo it. So I was able to add one stair and bottom slats is not attached. So I DYI for now. But please tell people the holes should be the facing out. So no confusion happens ... show more

I’d give this a 10 if I could! I am a 71 year old female heart patient and I built this by myself!!! It took just over 2 hours. It was packaged very securely. The instructions were very clear. I really appreciated the small details that will keep the slats from rattling and keep the sound down. My grandsons will enjoy their new habitat that gives them lots more floor room to play! Purchased 2 of these for our 4 kids. The structure is unsound. Bent when sat upon. There is no support on the length of very thin metal that holds the slats, causing it to bend in the middle within minutes of assembly. Completely unusable, and I do not have the capacity to deconstruct and return this after spending so much time assembling only to leave my kiddos sleeping on the floors. Super frustrated. The Allen wrench that came with it also was of such poor quality that it was virtually useless and added a great deal of time to the assembly. Low quality overall, difficult to assemble, and zero durability. Hard NO on this product. ... show more

Amazing I love it! The metal has a very nice texture, it’s matte and polished, it’s not like those shiny, silky metals. It’s also very strong, sturdy, and balanced. Putting it together was a breeze. And you can make this into two separate twin beds! It comes with extra parts, tools, and covers to put over the metals if you choose to separate the two beds.
